Hey Peaches! Ezra is getting antsy about saving Lothal and sticking it to the Empire. It's very understandable. So when a mission pops up and goes a little side ways, Ezra is perfectly fine heading off with the one rebel he thinks will help him, Saw.

I don’t really need to hear any more about Disney not marketing Rebels to you enough before Ahsoka. Maybe we can hand waive ignoring randos on twitter or YouTube telling you to watch it, but you have active, paying Patreon subs literally financially supporting you telling you to watch it. Heck, they didn’t do Clone Wars before Bad Batch, which is why S3 didn’t hit as hard. Anyways, Saw’s methodology was brutal but he was right about one thing: there was no peaceful resolution to be had against the Empire. Mon Mothma’s hope for a Senate solution was never gonna happen. The fascism had seeped too deeply into the foundation, the Senators too complacent or afraid. Then there was whole Sith Lord thing they didn’t know about.

These were awesome, but I'm certain Disney started leaning on the team more to stop having the character openly murder characters. Explosions are fine, shooting in the face isn't. Which prompts out-of-character moments like Saw donuting troopers, or the Bad Batch only fighting with donuts. Btw, the Jedi Academy trilogy and Darksaber are written by the same author, Kevin J Anderson!

I'm not sure Star wars animation is for everyone and Jay says these things because of the nature of you tube not Patreon. I personally think Ewok adventures is must see television but I wouldn't force anyone to watch things they don't have time for. Empathy, perspective, patience, and a caravan of courage is what we should all aspire to.

Ezra just should’ve said “Saw, it’s not about destroying what you hate, it’s about saving what you love.” Then they could’ve kissed out of nowhere. That’d be good Star Wars, right?
