Ezra likes vents so much he entered the vents to space and time

I think the world between worlds is an extra dimensional space acting like roads throughout space and time. much like the Eldar webway from Warhammer 40k or the time portal from star trek ep "city on edge of forever." I believe it was created long ago by an extinct force wielding civilization. that's my best guess.

How did Ahsoka get off of Malachor? Well, not very easily which is why she wasn't involved with the Rebel alliance anymore. I'm sure LucasFilm will fill in that story gap. However, some wonder if she was on that planet for a couple of years, slowly building a new starship out of all the spare parts of broken ships. That by the time she got off the planet, the Empire was defeated. It's a clean way to explain her absense from the original triology and why she never talked to Luke during that time.

Even in 2025, World Between Worlds is a brain shattering, soul wrenching experience. I think S4 truly captures the strengths of Filoni, focusing on the themes of found family, force spirituality, and cool animal friendships. Still needs work translating to live action, but let’s hope he gets there Next, PLEASE do the MORTIS Arc It’s also important to remember there was no DIsney plus or anywhere to easily put Star Wars to capture a large audience, other than the movies, in that circa 2015 era. Disney wanted a cheaper animated show than Clone Wars, which is why the animation style changed, and Filoni hadn’t earned creative control at the time. There certainly was only the specter of Tong Gilroy, who eventually came on to help Rogue One late production.

Fun little aside: the reason Rex is dressed like this is because fans spotted a character in Return of the Jedi, in the forest part of the Battle of Endor, who looked a lot like Rex. The fan theory was that this character was Rex. He's dressed exactly as Rex is here. This is Dave Filoni confirming that fan theory - Rex fought in the Battle of Endor, and is on-screen in Return of the Jedi!

Also, agreed Jay. I like to think we are seeing the version that Hera tells to Jaycen when he asks for stories about his father. The parts where the violence gets cranked up a bit is when Aunt Sabine chimes in.

"Through the Force, things you will see. The Future. The Past. Old friends, long gone." ~ Yoda, Jedi Master One of the great things about my job, is that I get to delve into, and work on many projects, covering a vast landscape of topics and universes. I've worked for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Disney, Fox, CN, and many, many others. However, one of my favorites has to be Lucasfilm Ltd. I have contributed to the comics, the magazine, the video games, the films, and animation. I've sat with George. Heard his ideas and philosophies and how they relate to STAR WARS and "The Force." For my take; the "world between worlds" is a nexus - a power conduit that like Kyber crystals is rich in "The Force." When Jedi or Sith meditate and see the future, the past, it is this place that they are accessing. Time is not linear. Time is happening all at once and we move through it, but in the world between worlds, we can leave our path and see others - interact with them, and access them depending on how strong we are in the force. Force ghost (not really ghosts) are echoes of this place - this level. "It was a simple story about a boy who was lost, and a girl who was broken. They fought alongside a survivor, a war veteran, and a fallen knight. I led them into battle... against an evil so terrible it tried to black out the stars. We fought for each other. We fought for those who could not, but we never imagined it would end... like this..." ~ Gen. Hara Syndula, Journal of the Whills https://youtu.be/O8_9lgTJk4s?si=uegOR-fAVHWQ8jEX
