Hey Peaches! They're finally here. Marvel's first family gets their MCU start and what a start it is. We were NOT prepared for how hard this movie goes on the parenting and newborn stuff. Not to mention how awesome non-space cloud Galactus is. Grab your popcorn, and a box o tissues, cause one of us cries a whole bunch during this movie :)

This film worked for a variety of reasons, but most importantly they had both enough financial backing, and a studio head who not only trusted the source material, he loved it! Chemistry was another key factor. Not only do you believe that these four form a family unit, you truly believe that this version of Richard and Sue... well, how do I put it? You believe these two &$#@! Whereas you'd hardly think that Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd even hold hands, let alone are in a committed relationship. Finally, we believe the drama is real. We're invested in the characters because the creators of the pictures laid down a solid foundation. We are not asked to believe they are in jeopardy because they say so. We're there with them. They've earned their ending.

This movie was so good I wish they didn't have to come to the main marvel universe. I want more stories in this world instead.

Great reaction guys! The movie was already a blast and even more so to experience through your passion and love. The Fantastic 4 are finally here and this is the best we've ever seen them. As for the post credit scene while I don't know much about the comics myself I did do some research on the Secret Wars story which is inspiring these next two Avengers Films and I think it helps justify the choice. So in short in the comic Dr Doom needs this super powerful dude in the Multiverse to take over and he essentially uses his power to fracture the Multiverse and break it. In the MCU the number of super powerful people who could fill that role is a bit mute. Wanda's dead (or maybe not we don't know) Wiccan's in the wind, Loki's at the end of time (Though he will most likely be Doom's target in the film) and Sentry's out there as well and we'll likely never see Kang again but Franklin is literally the power cosmic as the film says and how poetic it would be for Doom to use the most important thing in his arch enemies's lives to bring about his victory. Plus if I remember correctly it's Franklin who fixes the Multiverse after Doom's defeat and resets everything. It's all coming together and I'm both excited and confused as to how everything is going to play out. Either way I'm excited to go on that ride with you guys when it comes out (Plus the infinity saga rewatch and rewatching this when it comes on Youtube and checking out the other reactors and keeping up with the content) Much love and apologies for my nerd out.

I am pretty sure that Galactus is universal, not multiversal. The only multiversal power I know of is the phoenix force

Can't wait to watch this tonight. When I saw it in the cinema I kept hearing Jay's voice in my head saying "You got to save your baby!" Let's see if it gets spoken aloud :D

Unrelated to the film. Is it just me or have the recent watchalongs been very quiet? I have to turn up my volume a lot compared to other channels and even compared to your youtube videos.

Great reaction, guys! Doom is coming for Franklin. He will be pivotal in his plan. Possibly to help create BattleWorld. The same way Franklin was critical to Galactus' plan. Guessing Doom takes Franklin and the FF follows him to Earth 616 to join the others for a cataclysmic event that takes us to Secret Wars.

I propose that Doomsday will start during this movie's post-credits scene. There's just no clear link why the F4 show up in the Sacred Timeline during the Thunderbolts post-credits scene yet. Unless Doom kidnaps Franklin and takes him to Earth-616 for whatever reason and the F4 follow after him.

I know almost nothing about the Fantastic Four and I remember on several occasions you guys said that they were going to lose in this movie, and they were going to lose bad. So I went into the theater thinking that and came out really surprised
