Does mall baby chili fries? Many will probably tell you this. This episode released way before Doki Doki and while it came out just over a month after FNAF, the concept, storyboarding and I think much of the production was done before. So yeah, not inspired by either, happy little accident :D

It's amazing to think that this was in no way inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's, in particular. It's two projects having the same idea at the same time - Chuck E Cheese animatronics coming to horrifying life. And WAY before Doki Doki. The Golf War episode seems standalone, but it's worldbuilding for Pacifica and her family, which'll be important.

The joke about Soos’ grandfather is one of my favs in the series

I really enjoy this episode because it's nice to have a Soos focused episode. And I really like Soos meeting a nice girl who gets him. Also the line of "Soos, these are children" is so funny every time for me.
