my feeling is that when the NCR fell hoover dam stopped outputting power, thus house needed to shut down in sleep mode. When fusion went online house was able to wake up. Also, Clancey Brown's tie was very reminiscent of some colors associated when a certain German regime from the 1930s and 40s. So, I think coop was clearly manipulated into thinking that corporations were in control (they are bad). Man, I'm bummed that the congress woman was bad I liked her.

Showrunners followed this episode up by reiterating that they are still keeping the canon ending vague and up to the player, so you could feasibly argue for anything, I think. NCR could have won, but the destruction of Shady Sands 2 years after the Battle for Hoover Dam forced them to retreat, leaving maybe a bunch of squatters in Freeside. Legion could have won, but Caesar died from the tumor and, predictably, it fell apart. House could have won, but Shady Sands' fall made Vegas (reliant on NCR economy) decline, and he fell into a coma due to power issues again. Or Yes Man won, either killing or disabling House, but House's digital backup flushed him out. I think they're leaving the true answer up to the viewers and how they played it.

I am definitely under the belief that brainwashing the legion is still better than just letting the legion go.

Y’all are driving me crazy when you don’t watch the first few seconds of the credits because all the art there is actually really important and gives clues not only to the next episode but the storylines in general 😅
