Guys, you can react to old B movies trailers or shorts aka MST3K style! Do a blind episode watch of a series you have never watch SMACK DAB in the middle of a season so you have NO CLUE. You can make predictions of who is who and what is going to go on... hilarity ensues.

Okay, this time I took notes WHILE watching to avoid a note-dump in the comments with lots of edits and subcomments 😅 Note: my husband and I just watched season 2, episode 2 together and I am seeing SO MANY details that are worth noting that foreshadow all of these events. Definitely worth rewatching. - FOURTH WING LET’S GO ALL THE ROMANTASY LET’S GO - Helaena’s comment about dragons altering them and who they are is not new and was brought up before; the bond definitely seems to have an effect - Looking at Aemond, apparently there are no hair straighteners in Harrenhal - Aemond clearly has dreaming capabilities similar to Helaena (also ew — Oedipus much?) - How did they build that castle in The Vale? Dragons, y’all! Obviously! Dragons brought the materials up while the masons and construction folk went up the normal way! - Nettles (book) reference when it comes to Rhaena’s diet - Lady Arryn’s shoulder pads are fire - 💯 on Alicent being the stressed audience surrogate. - Alys is the long-suffering daughter-in-law of a mama’s boy and his over-devotion to a narcissistic mother - When it comes to this dragon fight: remember that Jace’s dragon Vermax was the son of Rhaenyra’s dragon Syrax. So it’s two mothers who lost their sons fighting against their children’s killers. It’s PERSONAL for both dragon and rider. - it sucks to watch all the sky doggies fight even though we know all the sky doggies die and are long gone before Dunk and Egg begin their adventures :( - During S2E2, which I watched right before this one again, when Helaena and Alicent are riding through the city during the little baby’s funeral procession, the common folk are throwing flower petals through the air. They’re landing on their faces and coming down like snow or ash and Helaena looks up at them significantly. This is directly corresponding with the vision Helaena is having here at the end. - Dreamfyre is so fucking magnificent. She’s also the mother of all of Dany’s dragons and supposedly of the five eggs at Harrenhall. - holy shit Sunfyre. And talk about the pet looking like their owner, eh? 😅 Jay, I’m normally in your corner but I’m gonna say, this is actually the best-paced season yet and I think they need all four to tell the story right. They’re building and it’s gonna be an explosion. I think they know exactly what they’re doing and what they want to call back to. But I definitely understand that perspective. Your stance makes sense as well. (Sorry about my autism and adhd and attention to detail in all my comments, to you and anyone who reads them. I’m both the Statler and the Waldorf, both the Servo and the Crow, the Rosencrantz AND the Guildenstern, I’m… the combo of them all. I apologize and also don’t apologize for all of it at the same time. 🤦🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️)
