Hey Peaches new and old! Well, here we are. Arcane lives on on Patreon! To all our new Peaches, welcome, we're glad you're here and we thank you for the support. Because we are no doing Arcane exclusively on Patreon, for the health and safety of the YouTube channel, we made it so any tier Peach-tron can watch this, as a thank you to all of you.

Ok, to the episode itself. When we last left Vi and Powder, Vi was willing to sacrifice herself in the name of deescalating the situation. But....others have different plans in mind. Which leads to a faithful collision of ill intent and the best of intensions. This is, hands down, one of the best episodes setting up a time jump we've ever seen. And I (Adam) have watched a lot of anime....

Thank you again for being here and supporting us. We hope you enjoy all the silly faces we make during the episode.

This episode broke me, it just broke me. All episodes were out when I first started watching this, took me 5 days before I could watch the next episode after this one, I was in WTF land for 5 days after the ending.

Freeman25 4ever

this is getting a bit better for me and i like watching it with the guys too..

Memento Mori

I usually have two devices running. I haven’t figured out how to do it simultaneously on my phone (I have an iPhone, though.) Maybe someone else has had better luck?

Alison Hawkes

I've been looking forward to this...

MajestNick

Proud to be a peach for this one, been watching you guys for a while!

Sven Denker

one of the best episodes i have ever watched. period. the show doesnt try to subvert tropes, they just use them so well that you understand why they are used constantly. and oh my god. the last 10 minutes.

Sven Denker

Also i will be very upset if you dont cosplay Vander/Silco for the next episode :P

William Pope

Been loving the content on YouTube and more than willing and able to jump over for Patreon. My wife and I love to watch your reactions to shows after we watch. Also...... *raises hand* High Five, Adam for that amazing WoW joke.

FuzzDad

IDK if others have pointed this out (new today to Patreon) but you might want to watch this if interested...the politics of Arcane. https://youtu.be/GDXbfXLW5JM

Unlikelyyam

Love you guys for sticking with it even though YouTube isn't a thing for it. Y'all the best!

Sammie

this is one of the best episodes of a animated series in my opinion. I have re-watched it multiple times and I've cried and tears up man THIS was crazy good.

FuriaFoxxit

So glad you guys decided to do this on Patreon. Love'd the YouTube reactions and now I get to see the full thing here! There was a quote added to the games awhile ago from another character and we never quite knew what it was about, but this episode made the wait so worth while... "Faces fading in the flames. It was all her fault." Can't wait for the next drop of episodes! "

cptmighty

fun fact (it's not a fun one at all i'm sorry) : if you look at Vi in-game skin design, you can see something on her head. But what it is exactly ??? Clagger's glasses. She kept those close to her all her life as an hommage to her dead friend.

Neto Gonzalez

This episode was one hell of a ride. Also... *high five*

Seanjax30

I know nothing of this game or the characters and now I’m like neo please give me the red pill and let me sink into a rabbit hole of Arcane

Seanjax30

You guys are literally my virtual friends

mrsmileguy

Hopped onto the Patreon just for this and was not disappointed that was great.. In this episode I just love the expression on Silco’s face at the end when Powder hugs him. He really does understand how she feels and empathises with her as his “brother” abandoned him too. Such a good show.

TheDogPenguin

This show is a master piece of animated storytelling, glad to see you guys doing it. I'm so so surprised by how good it is. LoL is a great game but there is virtually no storytelling in it that I'm aware of so they must've hired some bomb ass writers for this.

Taylor Olsoy

Such a good introduction act 1 to a story. I am so excited for this show to continue. And the name Arcane is ambiguous enough to make each season its own contained story. And with 150+ different characters in League there is so much they can do.

Nin

Came here just for this reaction, it's a bummer what happened with the copyright situation :C But I had to see your reactions I'll take those High fives from Adam, I did not see that joke coming while you were processing that last scene lmao

Leo

Ok...first. High Fives to you too....hahahha that one got me good XD. Secondly, I wanted to add you guys on patreon for a while, and this show and the youtube situation gave me the kick in the butt I needed. No way am I going to miss your reactions for this. Jay, I do have to disagree with you there. Everybody wanted a League show just because we knew that it would be soo good. Not just visually. I have played League for 10+ years and am a HUGE lore fan/nerd. Gotta say, this show is damn accurate. While you are correct that the matches themselves have no plot, each Champion (character) has its own story told in either cinematics, comics or short stories. Some of them are really amazing. So on a whole, this game has 10+ years worth of lore and worldbuilding. This show is amazing and anybody can watch it and enjoy. But still, it is on a whole other level for us fans. I dont think I am exaggerating when I compare this to my experience watching the first Avengers. And I am not talking about easter eggs. We have played as these characters for soo long and now after all these years we finaly see them on the big (well not so big but you know what I mean) screen. And that they are done so well. While Zaun/Piltover is not my personal favourite region nor are its champions, with one big exception (who I will not name yet, cuz I very much hope to see him), I do realize why they chose this story. Very well done. Since you guys asked multiple times, here is a spoiler free list of characters shown in the show (so far) that are Champions (playable) in the game: Vi, Jinx, Ekko (you were right), Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ryze (the mage guy in Jayces flashback) and Singed (the mad chemist who works for Silco). There are few others that are hinted at but I will not spoil that. We shall just have to wait and see. And yes, after the time jump you will see them as they are represented in the game (not little kids anymore). Some other info. Names: Piltover - top side; Zaun - bottom. The reason Heimerdinger was so against Jayce creating Hextech is because of an event called the Rune Wars (this is only mentioned in the games and there are no champions from that time so I do not consider it a spoilerr cuz it is not really integral to this story but it helps you understand Heimer.) The Rune wars was a global war of mages that resulted in a cataclysm that almost destroyed the entire world. So they are right to be nervous. Heimer himself is a yordle. They as a species originate from magic (it is in their very essence so to speak) so it is an added insult to him that somebody would try to create and manipulate what is a natural force artificially. You guys are my favourite reactiors and it is a real pleasure wathing this with you guys. Cannot wait for more. :)

Here am I a brand new Patreon ! Fun to see your review of Eternals and Arcane watch along back to back 😊

Silent Eric

This was worth the subscribe. No talking, just the expressions on your faces. Looking forward to Act 2.

quirkygeekgirl

Between this show and Invincible I can't get enough of you guys.

Julian Ortega

I think this show is such a beautiful entry into the world of Runeterra. Of all the realms in the world, Piltover/Zaun/The Lanes are a perfect sort of entry since it closely reflects how our own societal structure is. If they wanted to move from this 9 episodes and introduce the other realms, it would be awesome. Especially since there are other realms like Demacia where they outlaw/criminalize magic yet there is a mage right under their noses. I know this is just the completion of Act 1 but it’s amazing what they done with just 3 episodes. Ever since playing the game and diving into the lore, I always talked about how cool it would be to see it as a show. To know that this is the results of my patience makes me truly happy

Wayne Stacy

New Patreon. Just had to know how you guys took this episode

Chandler Lawson

Became a Patreon for this content. Love you both. Keep up the amazing work. You're both so genuine in your reactions, and, in a world full of fakery, that's some refreshing guac. <3

League of Bánh Mì

Also a little easter egg from the game for you guys Jinx interaction with two other character in the game. Fiddlestick (pretty much a demonic scarecrow): "JINX! All Your Fault! All Your Fault! Swain (Noxian's general) : "Faces..fading in the flames...and it was all her fault." We now know what it means.

Jonathan Frederick

OH MY GOD GUYS! EP4, 5, and were so good! Arcane isn't slowing down any time soon! I can't wait to watch these episodes a second time with yall. Preeepaaaare thy bootyholes!

Jonathan Frederick

Sooooo apparently Arcane has destroyed Squid Games in numbers and is now sitting at Netflix #1 spot in 37 different countries. Currently as I type this Rotten Tomatoes has Arcane sitting at 100% rating with an audience score of 98%. Holy shit yall.

Leo

Totally deserved

Maureen Essien

Really wanted your content for this. The other reactors were not hitting the spot.

Brian Small

Binged all available episodes of Arcane today, came here, and immediately signed up to the patreon specifically to watch you guys' react to it

Jared aka Rabubbles

Can't wait for your reaction to act 2! It is just as good, if not better than the first!!!

James Herder

literally one of the best animated shows in the past decade. They really know how to tell a story. Glad I could join to help you make more content as you guys were the reason I even knew about this or found out about Squid Game.

Tears

ah the old UMG Smite

Trae Brodnik

i really hope you will watch all of the legends of runeterra cinematics, league wants people to react to them so you dont have to worry about copyright and it really shows you how huge the world is

Andrew Helmer

Can wait to get home and watch along ! Thanks guys

Rose121

I am one of the people that joined from YouTube but I genuinely thought that the video would be like it was on YouTube, I,e that we can see what you see and the part that you are watching. Not just watching you and then having to watch the show on my own device. Or is it something that I’m missing here. Is there a way to see what you are seeing?

Rob Dean

This episode threw me for 12... not just six. Absolutely rained down the punches at the end... hit after hit after hit and i couldn't wait for the next 3 episode. perfect build up to the hell that was the end of the episode.

William Timmins

Subbed for this. And this is such a heartbreaking episode.

Oldish_Goalie

So "YouTube sideways pyramid head" and it's lord Google didn't respect the power of the Oxford comma and your 🍑 minions? SHAME!! Your silence and exasperated looks for the culmination of this first act said more than any words could have. I think all of us had the same reaction. Love these watch alongs!! I think 3 in one night is good, and I'm going to take your advice and watch those behind the scenes vids u suggested!! 😉

Jordan Coombs

I joined previewed patreon just for this series. Very much worth it.

Ariel Brener Zingman

Joined your patreon just to watch your Arcane reaction. Youtube is trash this days, it seems every time a company reaches an effective monopoly everything goes to hell (not sure if Youtube was the problem in this case, but then, so called Intellectual Property laws are a dumpster fire anyway, and I'm sure the head honchos at Google "care", but they certainly don't care enough to push for anything meaningful. Politicians won't do it, so I guess we're reduced to beg corporations to throw us a bone. So much for Democracy). Google just doesn't care anymore (Remember when they abandoned the motto "Don't do Evil" or something? HA!), as soon as a competitor manages to compete with them in terms of network streaming resources and business strategy, they're toast. Maybe Amazon, another lousy company. But a lot of people would jump from the frying pan into the fire just for the schadenfreude of watching Youtube come crashing down. Anyway, I love your reactions, keep it up.

CBDCDiva

I totally joined your Patreon because of you two. Poot YouTube for sending lightning strikes and judgement! But yo. This show??? Ermergherd. This episode... dayummmmm
