Hey Peaches! Everyone is on the run! Well except for Lan and Moraine, they can't really run anywhere cause Moraine's hurt pretty bad. Good thing Nynaeve showed up out of nowhere, kind of. Meanwhile, Perrin and Egwene are hounded by wolves and find themselves in the company of the mysterious Tinkerers. And Rand and Mat find a little town and one of the coolest characters in WoT, Thom Merrilin. Surprises abound as the adventure kicks up another notch.

Just finished episode 2 and got the notification you dropped episode 3! Thanks for the awesome timing!

Personally I feel like the show is finally starting to find it footing here. I so enjoyed Tom, but he would never have kept Matt’s coin purse!

Mild correction, the guy in the cage at the end is not the guy from the pilot

Gotten more and more engaged for each episode. Not too worried about the changes from the books they have already made. Its a promising start and if they keep going up in quality as they have i am gonna love it.

Let's try that again. lol keep forgetting that enter just post here... anyway, yeah, they are the same souls, but spun out into the Third Age of a different Turning. Canonically Ages repeat, but while they look the same from a distance, up close while they follow a ruff outline, there are many differences. Indeed, what one Age has in common with it's iteration in the last Turning might well not be the same details as it has in common with the next. Thus does the Wheel slowly drift. Not just one cycle endlessly repeated, but cycles, within cycles, within cycles. RJ talked about this aspect of the Wheel in interviews. It comes up quite a bit in what notes of his we have access to, and it is even alluded to in the books by a certain archer who would know such things.

I haven't read The Wheel of Time books. I get a lot of heavy parallels to LOTR here which, yeah, is pretty common in fantasy, but some of it is very obvious. Trollocs vs Orcs, Eyeless vs Nazgul, and the whole light vs dark thing. But what I notice is that the groups on the light side feel no less threatening than those on the dark side. I feel like this story has several twists and turns coming. I'm pretty engrossed with it.
