Hey Peaches! The little audio cue from the ending of last week's eps did not lie to us. And as we've learned with Fav-roni, they 'Do the Thing!' So here is 50 mins of them doing the thing. Din collecting a bounty. Check. Din whooping ass. Check. Darksaber. Check. And also, ouch. Din thinking about Grogu. Check. More Mandalorian lore. Check. Amy Sedaris. Check. Familiar droids. Check. References to older Star Wars content. Check. This is a great episode all around and I can't wait for Din and Boba to team up and take on the Pykes!

Star Wars fans are so frustrating. They will never, ever be happy. Ok maybe they'll be happy for two minutes, but then they'll spend the rest of their time complaining that nothing is ever as good as those two perfect minutes were and they HATE it.

It’s interesting how polarizing Star Wars can be. I read comments all day. There are two main camps. A few in the middle. You either liked it because Boba was missing, or you hated it because Boba was missing. I didn’t give it much thought. I was too engrossed in the story for it to matter. I reacted differently to the Naboo starfighter, not because I was fond of the scenes with Young Anakin, but because Filoni and Favreau continue to remind us where we are and what came before in new and exciting ways. And Bryce’s direction was amazing.

You cannot please 100% of Star Wars fans. It’s simply not possible.

I completely thought the gift would just be a beskar ball, completely ignoring the chain mail lol. But now i just think it's a beskar ball on a chain

I posted this comment on YouTube, but it's true: Jay and I had exactly the same reaction to the opening fight: uncontrollably laughing while simultaneously crying. Oh, and clapping till my hands turned red! God, it was so good! But, you are correct, suh: This is The Book of Boba Fett, not Mando. Also, you're the only reactors I've seen who realized The Armorer made chain-mail. Not sure why. But so, so epic.

Christine

What if... what ifff... Luke teaches Din how to be one with the darksabre?!?!?!

1) points for a Bleach reference! .... 2) Even though Boba fett wasnt in this episode, I liked the way they did it cause it killed 2 birds with 1 stone. boba needed people so the mandalorian is joining, awesome, but we would have had all these unanswered questions, wheres grogu? what about a new ship? whats going on with the darksaber? this cleaned up some loose ends, set up mando season 3, and with all the flashbacks and such with the previous boba episodes, this reestablishes the timeline of where everybody is at right now. IDK...I liked it.....3) to see master grogu in his mando armor click https://www.pinterest.com/pin/it-is-the-way--334392341087963839/

I’ll just share that my personal fave moment to the reaction was when they rolled out the Naboo fighter. Like Jay, I too flash backed to a “greased lightening” moment. I was vindicated! Lol

I appreciate the Mass Effect reference. Perfect timing. Total space station club vibes. Mando about to get drugged by the bar tender.

Pod racing game -- absolutely and can we add the band from the Star Wars Visions for back ground music etc.

Exactly. Star Wars fans are rarely satisfied. They made such a stink over the colorful Mod scooters and criticize Boba Fett because he...talks too much? On his own show? And he's not supposed to change and grow apparently. He's just supposed to be quiet and kick ass and be one dimensional like he always was. But now they're mad because he's not in this excellent episode of television. Which yeah, I get that because I missed him, but only because I LIKE this show! I like animal-loving Boba. I want to see the Mythosaur appear and I want Boba to ride it. I don't care if it's here or on The Mandalorian. All of it is good, even if the flavor changes sometimes.

I think we might see a Din & Grogu after credit scene in episode 6 and he will be back to help just in time in episode 7 :)

100k!

I read in an article that it might be chain mail and that could explain how Grogu survives the massacre that happens at Luke's Jedi Academy which would be pretty awesome.

Update… they removed the actor. I always check IMDb in case they reveal the name of an alien character, etc. This morning, IMDb is showing a new cast member. If it’s accurate, Episode 7 and/or 8 is going to be incredible. Spoiler warning!!!
