Blast from the past is great. I always thought if I was to choose a movie to turn into a musical that would be it.

Man, so I was just checking out Alicia Silverstone’s IG yesterday, which got me thinking about Brenden Fraser and her in Blast From the Past and what a great movie that was and that I really need to watch it again.

I was hoping Simply Irresistible with Sarah Michelle Gellar was on here cuz it's top notch cheese but I love Blast from the Past too!

Oh this one is HARD... "All About Steve" is universally panned and yet has a great cast - at 6/30 on RT it's clearly the worst of the batch and I haven't seen it. "Maid in Manhattan" was a pretty horrifying movie but I've seen it. "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton" has an EHH cast and is like a 60/60 RT anyway, but I haven't seen it. "Blast From The Past" is one of my favorite movies and I'd LOVE to watch it with J&A. Will have to mull this one over - looking forward to the watch-along no matter the results :D

All About Steve truly is one of the worst rom-coms ever, and Blast From the Past...well it's not terrible, but it's definitely on the weirder side. I find it much more watchable than most of these movies, but I still wanted different things for Sissy Spacek's character at the end.

So the thing about All About Steve is that Sandra Bullock plays a cheerful, chatty, supposedly adorable stalker of Bradley Cooper's character. It's like, what if the manic pixie dream girl was actually a nightmare? It's not easy to sit through if you can't handle Bullock at her perkiest.
