Hey Peaches! We asked for fun B-tier Sci-Fi series, and you delivered. There was no wrong choices this month, but man oh man one of our favorites won out. Time to travel back to 1997 and watch Luc Besson (arguably) best movie. How does movie hold up after 20 years?

That cover art though... LMAO I'm gonna see that when I close my eyes FOR WEEKS.

That person who was supposed to be Ruby Rhod.... That would be PRINCE. (And there was a chance Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts might have had the other roles... This would have been a D movie at best with that cast.)

The Fifth Element is stuck in a streaming hole right now. You can't find a free unedited version of it on any legal platform at the moment, although usually it feels like you can watch it anywhere. Currently it's on Dailymotion if you don't wanna shell out for a rental, though.

I’ve owned this movie for years, but then again I’m a huge fan of this movie. I even have a 5th element themed tattoo. Though Jar Jar Rhod does reeeaally make some scenes hard to watch. Thanks for the watch along Adam and Jay!

I really hope that becomes a bit whenever one of you takes a drink 😂

It's streaming on Netflix in Canada :)

Haviland Morris did the voice of the mom. She was in Sixteen Candles and Gremlins 2. :)
