Hey Peaches! Y'all voted for it, so here it is. Our watch along to the 90's classic, Twister. We honestly forgot how good this movie is. It's solid. They don't make movies like this anymore. So sit back and enjoy us enjoying, and in Jay's, case also fearing, Twister. Great choice Peaches, can't wait to see what y'all pick next month.

I grew up a few miles down the road from the 90s andover tornado and now live in joplin....this movie is the wildest form of catharsis for me and an annual rewatch that I delayed when I found out y'all were gonna watch! love it

There actually was a Twister experience for the longest time at Universal Studios. Pretty sure it’s decommissioned now but from what I remember it was basically a dark room with a video of Bill Paxton explaining twisters while you were buffeted with wind, water, and other practical effects.

I saw this in theaters back in 1996. The same day, there were two reported tornadoes about 10 minutes from where I lived and it was the first time I’d ever seen green storm clouds. I’ve been a weather spotter/chaser/enthusiast ever since.

Jay I am TOTALLY with you - that opening shot was UNBELIEVEABLE - love to see the behind the scenes on that one. That was a great reaction - I was totally Jay for a while there... Can't believe this movie is a 62/58 on Rotten Tomatoes...
