Hey Peaches! The King is dead. Long live the.....King? We might be in a parallax situation as today's episode only follow team Alicent and her sons as they deal with the death of their husband/dad. Turns out, many plans have been afoot waiting for this eventuality, much to the surprise of Alicent. Somehow. Who will try to usurp Rhaenyra's thrown, and how will team Rhaenyra repsond?

No one can say that Alicent didn’t put her best foot forward!

Not sure if it's been mentioned by anyone else but the Sept of Baelor has not yet been built. As Baelor himself has not been born yet! I think there was always more blood with each opening title sequence, as more children are being born each episode (due to the time jumps). it's just hard to compare them without seeing it side by side. I'm a fan of the concept that the title sequence has, just not the execution.

Rhaenys and Corlys are pure bi panic. & I love the idea that the beast beneath the boards could refer to Meleys or Aegon being found. When I say I hate the greens I never mean Helaena!! Last thing - on this rewatch, I imagined the crowd of city folk rioting after getting mad about being shoved around. If they wanted to demolish this (group in the) monarchy, they could. The power they hold is what the people allow. S/o Mysaria B. Sanders

OH and even after the death of her Targaryen Husband, Alicent continues to represent the greens in her outfits. A steady but fantastic episode I can’t wait for next week
