Hey Peaches! It's the last adventure of the 60th anniversary, and we're going way back to the past to resurrect an old villain who's truly scary. Can the Doctor fix a mistake and save the human race from itself? And what will it cost him? Hope you're ready, cause we certainly weren't for all the twists and turns in this one.

Doctor Who The Giggle Watch Along

Emily Hathaway

Yayyy I can’t wait to cry with you guys when I get home 😂

Aimee Lynn

Quote of the video: "To enjoy this show, you have to embrace that it's a little stupid." This reaction has everything: both Jay and Adam saying "Spoilers" like River, Adam trying to do a "Are you my mummy" moment and Jay answering sincerely that he's a daddy, Adam giving looks every time RTD isn't subtle, Jay hating the puppets, jamming out to Spice Up Your Life and then being mortified at the soldiers becoming balls, the shock of Fourteen getting hit with the beam, and the "This is nice" as tears stream down the face. Perfection. Oh, and to answer your question on when UNIT became shoot first, ask questions later, that would be the 70s. There are a lot of explosions and gunfire in the Jon Pertwee era.

The Toymaker is one of the biggest callbacks out there, way back in the 1st Doctor. To revamp him to a newer audience and have NPH play him is such a joy! He zoomed up to top 5 best Doctor Who villains alongside Missy, the Daleks, Cybermen, Silence and Weeping Angels

Austin Arminio

So a bit of old who lore. the Celestial Toymaker was a villain of the 1st doctor who appeared in 4 episodes of his run, but 3 of them have been lost. He was also an unfortuanly racist yellowface Asian stereotype , which i think they allude to slightly by having him due a bunch of fake accents here

Melanie Bush, played by Bonnie Langford, was a companion of the 6th and 7th doctor. I'm glad they brought her back because for years, for no fault of the actress, Mel was considered one of the worst and most annoying companions. This was no fault of Langford, this was just in the years before Who was put on hiatus for over a decade and they were in chaos behind the scenes and they didn't really get a good opportunity to let her shine

Jay, thank you so much for crying at the end. I lost my shit when I realized The Doctor gets to be happy. Like full on wept.

Trish Murphy

I love you Jay. Such a lovely man. And I love Tennant. Definitely my favorite Doctor. Although it’s not your regular m/o, I’d love to watch Good Omens with you. Tennant & Sheen are incredible together & Gaiman is a brilliant writer. Great Christmas present 💚❤️✌️

Was fun to watch along via the episode here, had to time sync but got it perfect.
