I think Hell's Greatest Dad is my favorite song from this season, which says a lot because they're all bangers, to the last. But Hell's Greatest Dad is just the perfect mashup of Aladdin's Genie and electro swing music that I had no idea I needed. It's so good. The sing along video on Amazon's Youtube page is the #2 highest viewed video on their entire page, with over 27 million views. Seems other people think it's a great song too.

Remember how in the first episode they established that Lucifer let the extermination happen but only if they kill sinners. The hellborn like Charlie and all the others that were born in hell were exempt from being killed. Lute explained that in the first episode in the meeting with Adam. The sinners cannot die in hell. Once they're there, they're there forever and it was becoming so overpopulated that heaven, according to the story were worried about an uprising. And they don't explain it in the show. But not only is Lucifer the king of hell, he's also the leader of the pride ring and that's where all the sinners go where they die, which is why it's becoming so overpopulated. Something that is sad even though Lucifer and Lilith have apparently split, whether that was before she left for the 7 years, or if it is meaning the 7 years Lucifer still wears his wedding ring, you can see it in several shots.

More than Anything has been my #1 since the first time I heard it, Jeremy and Erica just sound sooooo good together 😭😭😭 this is why we hire Broadway folks in singing roles!!

So many people have said how they were caught off guard by Lucifer's characterization. I think a lot of people expected him to be a pompous jerk, but he's just a distant dad who does love his daughter, but is dealing with serious depression.

HOW ARE YOU DOING, ADAM?!? I love the way they did Lucifer. So unexpected. And More Than Anything is just incredible, it's so nice to have an epic daddy/daughter song. Although I do love the way that the first song Hell's Greatest Dad comes to a crashing and confusing conclusion.

To put it in perspective, Hell has a hierarchy. Alastor is the equivalent of a mafia boss, whereas Charlie and Lucifer are Princess Regent and King respectively. From bottom to top it goes: -Imps & Hellhounds (seen in the spin-off Helluva Boss) -Hellborn demons (incubi, succubi, and other native demons) -sinners (demons who were once humans on Earth & sinned during their mortal lives, live in the Pride circle & can’t leave-includes Angel Dust, Sir Pentious, & Niffty) -Overlords (demons who’ve obtained power in battle and/or by making deals-includes Alastor, the Vees, Carmilla, Zestial, and others who were at the meeting in episode 3) -the Ars Goetia (demons with royal status, equivalent to Lords in Parliament; seen in the spin off Helluva Boss) -the Seven Deadly Sins (demons in charge of their own ring/circle of Hell; we’ve met 4 of the seven so far, mostly in Helluva Boss: Lucifer = Pride & the leader of the 7, Beezlebub= gluttony, Asmodeus= lust, Mammon= greed. Satan/wrath, Leviathan/envy, and Belphegor/sloth haven’t been revealed yet) -Charlie Morningstar, Princess Regent of Hell -Lucifer Morningstar, King of Hell, Sin of Pride, Leader of the Pride Ring

As a new patron who joined for this show, I have to say that you oversold the burps and farts, but I’m still glad to be here.

umm i think your getting commercials cause your not paying the extra $2 upcharge they introduced like a month ago. I got prompted at the begining of Feb to upgrade by $2.99 ( in canada ) to have no ads, not sure if its the same for the US.

One thing, in case you weren’t aware, is there is a second season in the works. I believe it’s been confirmed that some of the voice work has started for it, so we’re just getting the end of an arc with these last three episodes. More story to come.

The best part of the lore is the fact there are beings born in hell and some of those beings are good. That they are just born into a bad place and the circumstances of their upbringing makes it so rich for storytelling. How Lucifer knew enough to protect them shows exactly how much he understands about the good in hell, he just never extended that possibility of being good to the sinners as well as the hellborn. Probably because he was never mortal and in his view didn't deserve to be in hell, he saw the sinners as having missed their chance. mmmm deliciously rich.
