I have a doctor's appointment so I can only watch half until later tonight. I'm so sorry it was so hard to find. Del Shores who wrote the movies, is an amazing writer and producer. The first movie wasn't bad, it's actually one of my favorite movies. But since you seen this and now know this part I'll say it. It relies heavily on Brother Boy being in a mental facility since he was like seventeen or eighteen put there by his parents for being gay and being bashed. He told the bartender guy how he was in love with him, they were best friends, and bartender guy beat the hell out of him. Then his parents put him away, it's a very upsetting backstory even in the 2000s. Most of the actors are the same, oh and in the original, Olivia Newton John was in it and sang the theme song.

Ty's mother is a very complex character. I love her. In the first movie Ty told very sweet stories about her. Which is why even with how she was in the beginning he still talked to her.

Tammy Wynette was amazing. Same with Loretta Lynn who just recently passed away.
