Finally Claudia enters the story! She really changes everything and everyone with sense loves her lol Yes, Claudia is calling Lestat "Uncle Les" as in Les in Lestat! The "why" behind Louis wanting to turn Claudia is answered pretty well if you think back to episode 2 when he was crying over almost hurting his nephew and how he'll "never have a family of his own". Family is SO important to Louis and it was honestly killing him to be losing them. I think Claudia spoke to him most as a young black girl, she stands out as the closest person to remind him of his sister and the children he'd never get to see grow up. It's the same reasoning behind Lestat turning Louis, loneliness and a desire for companionship.
