https://clyp.it/rwi3vit1 couple weeks ago I sampled some low bitrate hum/noise floor/ambience from the Johnny Mnemonic FMV video game. This is that sample mangled by Nedit. My recording has some smal transients leftover at the start and end, which kinda makes this thing sound like could it have been some kind of percussive sample. Edit: Oh, also, DrumBuss!

It feels smoother overall and the UI is a great improvement! Although the blue probablity drawbars are kind of hard to see. And now that it's gone, I miss the "sample arsenal" dropdown. Anyway, getting to use more than one instance would be an absolute dream. Break on one track, noise weirdness on another etc... I like how this is shaping up! Great work!

I wanted to have options to have a sample "pool" but it might take longer and I want to get this out.

Right now I have some good old Amen choppage running in Nedit that I really like and sequenced a bassline for it. I noticed that Nedit goes off-time when I stop Live's transport while Nedit is still running; i.e. I had to stop Nedit, start the transport and then start Nedit for it to go back into time. Didn't really notice that in the last test because I used it differently. Not sure if that's a huge issue for what you want this thing to be.

I can't get anything except the original sample. I'm missing something obviously!

Really like it, but I'm having some problems with running two instances with separate samples. When I load in a new sample into the second instrument it loads it into the first one as well.
