Hello everyone. I've been spending some time fiddling around with the illusive machine recently coming up with ideas for videos and wondered if anyone is interested? I'm trying to find the best way to save projects with all the samples so I can share the projects here for you to download. Who is up for it?

I have one, but I neglect it for months at a time and then revisit and make some stuff, then repeat 😅

Yes, please! I would love some Octatrack videos!! I haven’t used this software in years, but http://octaedit.com might help out on exporting projects to upload

Kompa55

Definitely! Mine is gathering dust. Keep trying and then finding it too hard to get used to.

how is the sound? is it clear?

I have this template I've made that kind of for fast live sampling, not like looping with pickup machines, just arm and sample from whatevers coming in, then quickly dialing in the sound and making weird beats., either using a mic and my line 6, or a contact mic, or the radio, thought it could make for a good octatrack workflow video.

me too! I've been shooting out lynx and Apollo ADC and it's so subtle to me. I want it not to be. the HOFA blind test plugin is great for that btw.. random thing but allows a true dice roll and reveal of the sources in a shootout

Octatrack samples at 16/44.1 but you can go up to 24/44.1 but you lose ram. The filter and comb filter on it have always been super useful when messing about on it.

Sounds cool ! I’d love to see a video of your radio going into it :)

Oblique

I would love to see it too

This is a pretty close poll.

I probably won't ever _actually_ buy one. But I like to flirt with the idea every couple of months! Besides, sample packs could be livestream fodder!

Don't have an octatrack, but do have a digitakt and am invested in the elektron boxes - would like to see how your magic translates

Reuben

The Amen tutorial was awesome! It was the first tutorial that actually got me having some proper fun with the octa!
