cheers for this. i have a m1 apple & this project is freezing up ableton.... i restarted, etc.. but no joy. wonder is it just me?

It’s most likely me. I’ll fix and reupload. For now go to Max prefs, all tab and under Jitter change OpenGL engine to gl3.

you mean the main live preferences? im not seeing any max prefs in live ( i have suite 11). the only max related element is in the file folder section :

i have the bundled version of max, so i cant see how to open max on its own, its not listed in apps.... unless im being a dipshit here

Ok. Try opening the device in the max for live editor. It’s the button that next to the hotswap and preset buttons on the top of the device. This will open the bundled Max editor. You can go to prefs there.
