I've got a weird situation and I'd like to see if anyone else has come across this. When I open Ableton, insert a M4L device and open it, Max tells me there is an update and that the version I have is Max 8.2.2, despite installing that latest package. However, when I open Max on its own, it shows that I actually have 8.3.1 but it's not licensed. I have no idea what's going on, is this a bug or did M4L stop being bundled with Ableton Suite? Any thoughts or is anyone else running into this problem? I'm on PC by the way (don't judge!)

You can chose which version of Max to run in Max For Live in Live’s preferences.
