News & Getting Little Tomorrow (11/11) (Patreon)

Hi folks! The next chapter of Getting Little will be delayed until tomorrow. See below for a second piece of news as well!


Why the delay?

I absolutely hate to push a story back even one day, but I have not so much as started the Getting Little chapter for today yet. The world has come down on me, hard, in the past few weeks. I am capable of throwing together a chapter tonight, but that's not what I want to do. I want to write something really good for ya'll to enjoy.

Tomorrow I have no crazy appointments or other issues to deal with, and I'll focus on creating something delightful to add to Sarita's story. The chapter will be up at some point tomorrow, no idea exactly when. That part is up to my muse, to some extent.


ALSO: I accepted a part-time job today, and I start on Monday. I think that my Patreon and publishing have been very successful for the short amount of time I've been at them, but I haven't been doing it very long! Making my finances work is going to require some traditional work.


What does that mean for the Patreon schedule? Hopefully nothing! The job is only part-time, and at the moment I am optimistic that I will be able to get my weekly Wednesday and Thursday stories out, plus 2 Tuesday stories a month.

If that changes, I will let you know and be as transparent as I can. I want to thank everyone for your support. You're an amazing community of readers and I'm super grateful that you want to support me to make my sappy/sexy niche stories.


The stories aren't going away, promise. I may have to slow my ebook publishing schedule, but the Patreon is my main priority. <3

Maybe for these first few weeks with the new job and everything it might be a good idea to maybe just do one chapter of one story a week. It might be better to under promise and over deliver than the reverse. I know you want to give us everything but just think what would Victoria or Navi say? Would they want you pushing your self to create something just for a schedule?

I appreciate that, and believe me, I've thought about it. The new job is a big step down from what I was doing before, it's something I can do in my sleep. I'm not super worried about it sapping my energy. Also, these stories are burning up inside of me! :D I really want to get to the good bits (the good bits are always the bit I'm about to write, but haven't yet). I want to make more sweet JaM and tumultuous Getting Little and indulge myself with diaper faeries. &lt;3 I'll re-evaluate how things are going as the week begins, and I may have to take your suggestion. On the other hand, momentum has always been a big thing with me. If I can get myself going and set a routine, I can accomplish great things. This job may actually help me do that, as it'll force me to structure my time more. We'll see! Thank you. It means a lot to have readers that are looking out for me this way. I would be a total nightmare for Navi or Veronica. They would be frustrated all the time with me. :P Plus, do you see how chatty this comment is? I need to be writing!

If I see you struggling or stressing, I'm go take away everything and give you blank paper and make you draw circles and connect them.

As always you have my full support. You are just getting started with your online stuff so it takes a bit to hit your stride. In the mean time we all have to make money. I for one have to work two jobs. I hope your current content schedule doesn’t suffer but if it does it does. I think you have built or are building a enough of a fan base that we aren’t going anywhere. I would suggest seeing how it goes at first before making any drastic changes to your writing schedule. I like reading your stories and if takes you a month to get out just a chapter or two then that’s fine as long as they are good. Quality beats quantity in this case. I am very sorry to hear that life has been kicking you hard these past few weeks; however you keep getting up and kicking its ass; as much as possible. As we all know life has a way of trying to make things difficult, however I will say thanks for providing us readers with a break from that reality. I truly do hope that things get better for you soon, and the new job is not much of a drain on your limited time for writing. Please remember to take care of yourself, your family and the loved ones you have around you. Again thank you for your contirbutions and effort that you put forth for this niche community.

Don’t fret! We appreciate you and support you! Make whatever delays or adjustments to your schedule that you deem necessary. You’ve got a new job, new to your Patreon and writing schedule, and you’re transitioning. I was a complete wreck my first year of transition 😅 I also appreciate, though, that writing these stories is as therapeutic as it is for us to read them. But try to keep it that way. Don’t turn it into something you feel like you have to do. Don’t feel guilty about making us wait. We love you and want you to put your well being first 🫂🫂🫂

Transitioning is hard, yo, and I've barely started it. :P Thank you. I have super high standards for myself so I'm unlikely to make sweeping schedule changes, but last night's break was very good for me. (I will learn nothing from that. :D ) Meanwhile, time to get back to my stories! I'm feeling energized this morning.
