Behind the scenes: comedic games (Patreon)

Later this year I'll likely start a new project, which I already hinted in my blog and here, featuring a male protagonist and a comedic setting.
People who knows me, know well that I'm always making jokes and I like humour in general. When I was in school, I used to draw absurd comics in my diary, which would make its way around the class, and people would have huge laughs reading those stories.
I briefly became the "humor comic artist" for the entire class. It seems I’ve always had a knack for comedy! Even in my more serious games, I often include dialogue options that let you respond in a joking way, and honestly, some of those are my personal favorites.
So I thought, why not go all-in and create a fully comedic game? What do I have to lose? (Well, aside from my reputation—but let’s face it, I already kissed that goodbye when I released At Your Feet! lol).
This new game will feature a protagonist rising from the ashes in a slice-of-life story set in the 1980s. Without giving too much away, let’s just say the protagonist discovers a "new purpose" in life—which, naturally, revolves around seeing as many naked women as possible—and that unexpected purpose becomes his job.
The game will also debut a fresh art style, and I plan to include comic-style panels for the key romance scenes. I’ve been experimenting with this approach, and so far, the results are looking very promising!
For those wondering, I posted some sneak peek in Patreon last year of those girls. Here's a reminder:
And I also posted some preview of the CG and comic scenes more recently.
So that's the plan for when I have finished Thieves Of Dingirra. After that big game is done, I definitely need a break and what's better than a crazy comedic story?
