PS2 unused alien sketches concepts (Patreon)

When making a game, I usually brainstorm various possibilities. Especially with a sci-fi game. I mean fantasy is somewhat easier since we can rely on a lot of pre-existing culture/folklore. In almost every fantasy world there are elves, dwarves and so on. On sci-fi, it's different. Apart for robots and android, all aliens can be very different from each other.

Above you see two alien species that didn't make it into PS2. The left one was hilarious, a sort of E.T. alien :D the one on the right was to be the mount of Maradas, and if you played the game you can see a tweaked version in the Marada Knights units.

Unfortunately it's normal that not all the ideas make into the final game, sometimes it's just a matter of time and budget, and not really because an idea was bad, like in this case!
