I won't repeat here what I'm going to write in my blog post, but this year was definitely a tough one but at same time a positive one since I learned many things:

- making a huge big RPG without a KS first was nuts :D- waiting 2 years between games releases (I don't consider Corona Borealis since was really a super short game) is BAD- I can definitely get back writing the games myself with the use of good editors- or at least I can write storyboards, since writers have much easier life following them

I made storyboards for Curse Of Mantras, and for another unannounced fantasy game (the one with Lambert, Esmeralda, etc). I also am going to scale down some games, in a sense that I thought to be adding RPG gameplay on many of them, instead I'm going to simplify stuff, I cannot make RPGs too often otherwise I get burned out.

The Nomads game, and the Dingirra game for example originally were both to have RPGs, but I'm now considering doing something else. For the Nomads, I plan to do something like a strategy/wargame mix (VERY SIMPLE of course!). Think like King of Dragon pass, but simpler.

For Dingirra game, I was going to use the Puzzle Quest engine... before it broke XD So, I'm still unsure what to do. That's another game that has to have some gameplay, I'll see if I can come up with some 1 vs 1 battle system.

But in any case, I must not wait too much between the game releases. This doesn't mean rushing them out, but at least 2 good titles a year, or maybe 3 smaller ones. I think focusing on smaller stories/cast but with more original/interesting ideas is the way to go.

Happy New Year! :)
