52 resolutions O.o! It make me think, since you're using an indexed framebuffer in SUGAR the resolution must have a big impact on performance. What is the resolution you used for the breakout game?

The resolution does have an impact on performance but it depends more of the quantity of draw calls you'll do. Of course, the bigger the resolution, the more draw calls you'll make to fill the space. The Breakout game's resolution was 256x144.
