1,000 members incoming—time for a patron’s choice story! (Patreon)

we’re closing in on 1,000 total members, and to celebrate, i’m doing a Patron’s Choice story drop—a 5k-10k word one-shot (that could continue, depending on how well it's liked) chosen by all of you.

here’s how it works:
➡️ members submit ideas for a one-shot (free & paid can suggest).
➡️ i’ll pick the best 4-5 ideas and put them in a poll.
➡️ you vote, and the winning idea gets written.

MC in Tesura (reincarnated as a slime) with the ability to chat with people from the multiverse view his skill (would be like a chat group). No other functions built in. He would need to figure out item trade, summoning people or going to them on his own (it’s doable in that world). What this provides is magic/mystic advice from people in the multiverse. And later on item trade, then multiverse travel (or just summoning people).

Accelerator from scientific railgun awakens a planeswalker spark and ends up in Worm (I want to see him duke it out with Behemoth, as he hard counters that Endbringer so hard). Can be a one shot just for the fight or continue later on to other worlds or Worm or what have you.

Magical creatures start appearing in the real world, but no one gets the accompanying magical powers that these types of stories usually give people. All electronics work, but insanely strong animals being around break supply chains, and power plants no longer generate power as they are no longer staffed. Story follows group of servicemen on submarine that had lost contact, but continued to serve out their orders as long as possible. They start seeing strange things in the water, but nothing actually happens so they just continue to document and report (even though no response) until they have to return. On return to a dry dock in Hawaii, they finally realize the chaos that has been happening, connect with a few other small groups of survivors and work to establish a settlement using military and civilian resources in the area. Struggle is they will eventually run out of weapons/assets (gas, bullets, rockets, etc). So plot is basically group of people, with a surprising amount of success, figuring out how to overcome that.

One Piece with the Door Door Fruit, that shit is OP if pushed right. It all depends on how far you push the concept of opening a door. Or the saying when one door closes another opens. Can be used as a way to impose restrictions in exchange for benefits. Or impose restrictions in exchange for opening a single door to a location. Like in exchange for power not working for a month I open the next door infront of X person, or X devil fruit. In exchange for increased muscle pain, training gains in the next week double. Can be used to open a door in front of an item from another world if you add enough restrictions (including only putting your hand forward to grab it) if you want to go multiversal, or only allow people to cross towards One Piece. Later on can go multiversal if you want or stick to one piece. Could even open the door for your body to take more than a single devil fruit, or get around the sea curse (would not be easy, might need to awaken devil fruit).

Sawada Tsunayoshi (Hitman Reborn) reborn as Riser Phenex (DxD). Or anywhere really as he is an interesting character. Or even Someone getting Dying Will Flames.

MC in worm but with the powers of a RTS game like Age of empires, Civilization etc. that allows them to make buildings/troops etc. They use this power to stabilize places like post leviathan japan and they work with Dragon/Narwhal for Guild. Soma Yukihira awakens as a planeswalker and ends up in the world of Toriko (would not want to actually leave that world for a long time). Then starting a food cart/stall across worlds (like mutiversal restaurant, but chef is going to other places). Idk how fun it would be though, would depend on how much you want to dive into food related stuff. Idk it’s is a good idea but it hit me. I am thinking what would be fun as a planeswalker. And a chef in Toriko sounded fun. Though Maybe a better idea would be a guy trying to be a Food Hunter in Hunter x Hunter ends up making an ability to to travel worlds to get ingredients when he didn’t intend to, originally wanted to make a skill to get ingredients, but added enough restrictions it got really strong.

[loser] Greg gets the power to get better every time he fails at something. if he gets hurt it's the Zenkai boost for his body, if he fails at a skill it's like "history's greatest loser' from records of Ragnarock. ie an action comedy where greg gets all the powers from celestial dojo that reward failing (plus inner strength matching outer beauty for the lols) and Jackie-chans his way through [Worm] maybe even getting the girl at the end of it all. wait does getting superhumanly beautiful mean he was ugly before? i think all the powers would be Lessons Learned, Zenkai Boost, Transcending Beauty, Humanities GREATEST Loser, and High Speed Regeneration (just to keep him alive)

A guy reincarnated as a Saiyan and can’t escape the description of planet Vegita, right as it is about to blow up (could not get strong enough fast enough) he awakens his planeswalker spark (or some other fùckery that gets him to the next world) and ends up in Tales of Demons and Gods, and he uses his inner Oozaru as the spirit he uses for his cultivation.

Someone without meta knowledge ending up in Naruto and trying to develop techniques for things other than fighting (still learn to fight, because if you can’t you don’t get a say in that world) . Stuff like seals that transforms anyplace to arable land, a water purification jutsu, a brick making jutsu, a mining jutsu (gradually pushes ores out of the ground/walls). Lots of things really. Just someone looks at people with magic and saying why the fuck are you just flinging elements at each other instead idk anything else. Something that always bugged me in Naruto was how they do missions to bring in money (well and higher end ones to make sabotage their enemies) but they don’t look into financial avenues other that as mercenaries. Sure there are some clan business like restaurants or what have you, but no services or things done with ninja magic other than killing. They only have academies for ninja not ones who only work on developing non combat shit. I would have assumed the leaders of the countries (not the hidden villages) would have tried something like that, though I guess Ninja would kill those people or steal their shit then kill them. Sasori can be a one man factory, or harm an insane amount of land alone just with his puppets. The Aburami can do pest control missions. Sure it’s still mercenary adjacent Work. But it’s not killing. It’s like it’s either in village D-Rank chores or combat missions.

Gregory Veder gets an upgrade as One Of The Primarch's, unfortunately, 40K is a terrible universe and coming in after Horus's big whoopsy leaves a lot of room for improvement, oh well, at least the felinids and stouts are cool.

Actually, now that I think about it, there is something I would want to see even more than a Celestial Menagerie story. And that is something based on Magic the Gathering. Only if you are already familiar with it of course, because with the number of cards hovering around 30k, trying to research it would be nightmarish. But if you do know/play the game, I would dearly love to see a story either based in that world(s) or using that mechanic or the cards/powers from it in another setting. There have only been a few fanfictions that do it justice and they tend to not last long....

The main problem I could see would be how to handle boardwipes... in most setting inflicting mass casualties on both sides would get everyone interested in killing you quickly...

story of a person reborn in warhammer fantasy as a dwarf with a FFX like sphere grid system for levelling and stat increasing and learning runes/spells (grid shaped like the MC showing that it is limited to what his utmost limits are as a dwarf which when knowing about the Ancestor Gods, means it is actually very freakin high)

How about a big xianxia fan is reborn as a baby still in the womb and thinks he's bean reborn In a xianxia world because he can senses his mandarin and core shenanigans fallow. Thing is he's actually reborn in Naruto wich he's never heard of. This idea comes from just how little spirituality there is in Naruto Chakra is literally half spirit but most of the jutsu are ale physical. And don't get me started on nature transformation it's not evan transformation it's making Chakra physical behave lick the elements at best. So why not someone that tries to make use of the spirit side of Chakra purifying flames heling water and sword Chakra go full cultivator on there ninja asses.

A story about Dean Stansfield, aka Gallant. It would be set in the world after Ward. Dean has been resurrected through unknown means, and the story would focus on the reactions to this resurrection by his friends, mainly Vista and Victoria. But this is a completely different Dean from the one his friends remember: sarcastic, foul-mouthed, cruel, and prone to anger. There is almost nothing left of the "gallant" personality that everyone once loved and admired. Victoria and Vista are horrified by this change. This transformation is justified by the fact that he was brought back to life many years after his death, at the same age he was when he died. Now, he finds himself in a world where Victoria is an older woman who has moved on with her life, making a relationship with him impossible. A world where the same has happened with Vista—he won’t admit it, but it bothers him that her former infatuation with him has faded. A world where many of his friends and family are dead. A world where he is alone. Because of all this, the new Dean is known in the story by the codename "Ruthless" (or something similar), to definitively separate him from his former superheroic self—someone he no longer has anything in common with.

I would love to see a Dragon age Gamer that follows a Mage Male Elf SI or OC that after traumatic events leads to him starting a Mage/Elf rebellion that comes into conflict with the Chantry and Crown.

Here's my idea the main character is isekai with gamer powers that are pretty much straight up ripped from the pokémon let's go game with some alterations. The main character can only summon six pokémon at once and if the pokémon are knocked out 😵 they're immediately sent back to the inventory in which case they can only be revived through getting a revive form the Pokemon in game store in which they have to use poke coins and to get poker coins they need to complete daily quests and then they can either use those coins to get in game items or pay to have an encounter where the Pokemon they can then capture of random rarity excluding legendaries. as the main character can only have the opportunity to get his hand on a legendary by completing world quests. Also the only way the main character can strengthen his Pokemon is through candies or through evolution and these key items can only begotten through quests like I go take down the mountain bandits or something similar to it. Ideas for what worlds the main character would be sent to. Number one: one piece Number two: My hero academy Number three: Naruto If anyone wants to include any other fictional universes this would be cool to see idea come to life let me know cuz I'm open to ideas.

Only because every good comic book publisher needs one, I suggest a crossover event between your stories. Stick all your Gregs and Zedds and whomevers in a big megacrossover event where they have to compete for a reality-altering wish. Want to go home, or resurrect a dead friend, or etc etc? You just gotta beat all the other protagonists. Give em each a bit of prep time to wind up and then watch em go.

An Inspired Inventor or Celestial Forge in the Babylon 5 universe, before either the Minbari or Dilgar War. MC could be a telepath (thus having to go deal with Psi Corps) or a baseline human being trying to make their way in the universe.

one idea i had last minute that i figured you guys might find interesting. [Master?] greg's family has a history of being filled with VITALITY but greg gets and extra dose of it. one day greg wakes up to find that puberty has hit him in much the same manner Leviathan hit japan, suddenly, violently, and forever changing the victim irreparably. greg has access to some pretty simple powers that essentially make him a trump (brute) heroic power, enhanced KI, berserker, and dou ki from Sei Kior Dou Ki. now the issue isn't a twelve year old running around with superstrenght and keeps rising the more he fights. it's that aura of warmth and health that he gets from heroic power on it's own it would be fine but it's being enhanced by his KI, the KI that is constantly getting more powerful. the focus of the story would be more on the characters around him trying to decide if he's a master, if they should try to bring him in, if this is a positive because it would make people see heroes in a good light. hell if him being a problem now when he's a kid and not too hung up on girls just yet is the case what should they do when he gets older and starts looking to hook up? further issues pop up when it's shown greg isn't a parahuman, just a genetic abnormality from a family full of them. the story is about how the adults of [Worm] handle an outside context problem that really should be within their preview but is just different enough that none of their old protocols or systems quite fit with what they need to do. and a B plot of greg just having massive golden retriever energy in a grim-dark superhero setting.

Would love to read a BG3 SI Dark Urge crossover with Dragon Age, Thedas is cut off from Faerun by the Veil until the Cult of the Absolute breached the Veil and entered, SI believes the became the Dark Urge in the Nautilod but in reality Bhaal couldn't create a soul for the Dark Urge so he stole SI as a replacement. Story follows same route at BG3 until in the Shadow Cursed Lands they learn that Kethric has been taking and infesting people from Thedas until they're forces became under attack from the Blight and became infested, now the party (Minthara included) has to deal with the Cult of the Absolute but prevent the Blight from escape in through the Veil and Entering Faerun. As they travel through Thedas, Faeruns gods being interfering gaining worshippers and also causing conflicts in Thedas, Mage Rebellion, Exalted March etc.

Okay last one, MCU x XMen SI as Matthew Malloy a beyond Omega mutant who's power draws energy from another dimension that give him the power over life and death, and time and space, Reality Warping that sort of thing. Extreme Emotions cause his powers unintentionally, the story would mainly focus not only on the MCU and X Men comics but also SI struggles with his godlike power and relating to others including Mutants. Thinking that villians the he would struggle to deal with would be eldritch gods like Chthon, Set and so forth. Maybe have some Midnight Suns arc with it too. If it does progress that far nothing after Endgame should be involved in this.

I have three Ideas so you can choose whichever one you prefer Z. Blonde For All (Worm Fic)- Greg is being bullied relentlessly at school and one day has an empire goon stand up for him, leading to them becoming friends since Greg is lonely and had no other friends. Eventually, the empire friend convinces Greg to join a recruitment meeting and basically ends up being pressured to kill someone to join the empire. Greg ends up trying to run away, and his friend chases after him and they get in a fight. Greg accidentally kills him and hates himself, triggering with the ability Blonde For All. Greg's power transports Random fictional Blondes into his head and lets him use their abilities, albeit limited. The requirements to get a new power/character in his head are that Greg must kill a blonde teenage boy. The irony of the power is that every time he uses it he's forced to remember his most traumatic moment, and it also reflects how Greg is killing someone he can see himself in, aka killing himself. Btw, the blondes who are inside in Greg's head can only be teenagers and blond themselves and can only be guys. Some blonds you could choose from: Anakin Skywalker, Johan Libert, Naruto, Bakugo, Gohan(super saiyan), Arthur Pendragon(fate), Zenetisu, Kurapika, Edward Elric, Johhny Storm, Pikachu, Arlo(unordinary) Armin Arlert, Genos, Jaune arc, etc

Second fic Idea A Song of Shards and Power (Worm x Asoiaf)- Scion descends down to Westeros a few years before Robert's Rebellion. Eden still dies in Contessa's world and basically the entire planet of Planetos is off its rocker with random Peasants getting powers and triggers going rampant. Story would go over how Westeros would handle shards and how society/politics would interact with shards and the conflict drive. Would like to see the main families get shards, considering the main families are the MCs in Game of Thrones and how Contessa and Doctor Mother help shape the medieval Westeros from the shadows.

Third and last idea No Good Deed (Resident Evil x The Boys)- The Umbrella corporation and Vought have been competitors for years, and they've each been battling for supremacy to be the best in the superhuman corporate race. Both had been taking too many risks, too many hell mary attempts, so it wasn't really a surprise when both companies accidentally started a super human zombie invasion. Basically a fusion fic where both Vought and the umbrella corporation exist in the same universe and The Seven (if you want them to be the MCs) or The Boys (if you want them to be the MCs) or Soldier boy (if you want him to be the MCs)try to stop and adapt to the now supefied zombie invasion that has spread globally. Basically, The Boys season 4 barn episode with suped up animals only throw in the contagious T and G virus and a full on Supe Zombie takeover. Kinda impartial to who the main characters would be, seeing The Seven or Soldier boy work as heroes would be cool, but The Boys would make good underdogs and could interact more freely with Resident Evil characters.

A Vtmb-Hellsing-MCU crossover where the Fledgling OC after turning becomes a vampire with the powers similar to Alucard, now stuck in Los Angeles with a civil war brewing and he's going to need to keep his head down and his new bloodline a secret before it gets him captured or killed, hard to do when your taxi drive is Cain of all people An idea that was floating in my head where the Fledgling from VTMB gets Alucards bloodline (He becomes a new second gen vampire) set in a blend of WOD and MCU where the restrictions of the Masquerade are much tighter and with the introduction of Superheroes Vampires become more desperate to stay hidden and on top. First MCU character he meets will be Blade probably. His Sire chose was a Tremere that found a mutation in his blood that she believed would assist in he research, she slowly became clingy and obsessed she ignored the rules and turned him, she told no one of him and as such his secret is safe, for now.
