First 5 chapters of Fighting Chance out.

First things first, what do you think?

Should I continue? I want to hear what you think.Second things second, I'm working on Massive Disaster Chapters 9 and 10. They're already outlined, just being written out.Nerd In the North 11-15 are already outlined. Just have to buckle in. Soon as we're done with the 3rd and 4th arc of these stories respectively (which will probably be soon at my pace) then Greg Vs and Life Is But A Game and Fool of the Devil in that order need some love. The first two are my first fics I really put heart into and the last one... well, I love them all equally. But seriously, opinions on Fighting Chance?

DeadFodder

I like it. Specially that its combat focused.

zfighter18

i figured people would prefer that. Progression will be faster too. No OCs as Marvel Comics and the MCU has plenty of canon characters to use.

Pretty good so far! I like the idea of the MC charging people he saves for a reasonable sum, if only because of the humorous likelihood of one of his rescued clients offering to pay him double if he continues to beat up their mugger.

I love it . Its going to be amazing. The only thing that I would want more is if the MC explored more of marvel instead of just in new york. It would like in those old kungfu storeis where the MC travels all over the world to explore different cultures and their way of fighting.

Well, he's beating crooks and taking their money and nearly got his ticket punched in. I figure the plot needs to advance from that point. He's got to have enough money to get some extremely low rent place by now, right? I mean, look at MCU Peter who had his existence erased but was still able to find an apartment.

Wolfdragon Sage

Yeah this story is awesome I want more of this

LysanderArgent

Fighting Chance is good. As good as your other stuff. I hope to see more.

fighting chance was a lot of fun, i'd say continue it. but I'm really looking forward to fool the devil and nerd in the north personally

I am not that interested in yet another new story. You are already juggling multiple stories, and it can take days for them to get updated. Your writing style also makes it so that it takes an entire arc for the MCs to power up and kick ass. Before that point, there is always a lot of suffering and fumbling around which becomes less interesting to read if you bounce around different stories and delay in updating one story in particular. I would much prefer you focus on progressing and completing a more tightly collection of stories. That will at least make sure that the ones you are working on are advancing at a more tolerable rate. Please do not start another story without ending one of your current ones, or else you will cause every ongoing story to slow down even further.

Hmmbot

Love the action, looking forward to what you do with the Marvel universe.

Austin

I like it and nerd in the north and massive disasters

Bring

Depends on you zfighter the reason why most authors who make it bigger on patreon have large amounts of story’s is when you are getting writers block you can write a different story maybe put it on hiatus I like it a lot. Anyone up to you bud

Seto Kyba

I second this. It's fun so far. The hallway scene was a bit dragged out though.

Kylar Guile

I read the first two chapters (I’m taking my time), and I really liked them. If you think you can do it, go ahead, but please let this be the last new story you start until you finish one of your other stories. I see this happen a lot with fanfiction writers—they regularly start new stories while their other ones go months or even years without updates. It’s understandable since they can get bored of writing the same thing, want to try new ideas, and aren’t being paid to finish their other stories. But I think those of us on your Patreon need some assurance that your stories—at least the most popular ones—won’t take months or years to update.

Turncoat

I like it so far though it does continue the theme of your protagonists just ending up with very harsh starts in new worlds. Just an observation.

zfighter18

I mean, you can see my pace since August. I've kept a very strong pace, hacven't I?

zfighter18

My bad, I was trying to establish how he's getting in over his head and he's not invulnerable

The Renrag

I prefer Nerd and Disaster. Also, I tend to find your fight scenes very difficult to follow, and this looks to be nothing but, so...

Kylar Guile

True, and believe me you are awesome in that regard, but nothing in life is guaranteed to stay the same. Mainly because of work or personal life.

KdRatio _85

I like it a lot. It reminds of when massive disaster originally came out, in where it's a new flavor for you and if your passionate about i see no reason to block you man.

KdRatio _85

I actually kinda prefer you hallway scene as it revolves around the character itself just starting out without being too fast for his actual capabilities.

stupidtreehugget

I think you should just keep writing Nerd and massive for now and come back to fighting later

Demise GE

So far looking like it might be my new fav alongside nerd in the north. Hope you do continue.

Prospero

I'm enjoying Fighting Chance, very curious to see what the eventual growth of 'fighting' skills is going to end up being and if he starts to get rolls from out-there fighting systems like the classic MK or SF, or more oddball things like Exalted Martial Arts or CTech Cascades.

Simmie

Been fucking with it. The dojo has some pretty sick abilities and the setting you’re using is pretty fun. I could be a sucker for Celestial bs, but it’s been awesome so far. Hope you keep up with it.
