alright, here it is—the DCAMU justice league: war SI fic you guys voted for is officially in development, and it’s gonna be a Celestial Reliquary story.

what’s that mean? think Celestial Forge or Celestial Grimoire, but instead of tech or magic systems, the reliquary only grants items—weapons, gear, artifacts, cursed objects, legendary relics—from across fiction.

no skills. no powers. just loot.

it’s called what is it good for? and it drops the MC into the chaos of the DC Animated Movie Universe, right before Darkseid invades earth during Justice League: War.

he has nothing but his wits, trauma, and whatever the Reliquary decides to give him next. expect:

  • improvised strategies with nonsense gear

  • wild cross-fiction loadouts that barely make sense but somehow work

  • a guy trying to survive a war between gods with stuff like Captain America's shields, Dante's guns, and Goku's Flying Nimbus

more info soon. it’s gonna be loud, unhinged, and extremely dangerous. stay tuned.

Request that this does not become just a one shot, I’ve only ever seen ONE Celestial Reliquary story before, so this has massive potential

I'll be honest my preference would be to continue the rest of your stories. I'd like more Fighting Chance in particular.

Agreed here. Having an item-only based system seems like an interesting challenge.

Khetsun XD

Isn't that just the wiki warriors format?

While I'm really into Massive Disaster right now, this sounds like the kind of trainwreck that can be entertaining

As soon as I finish these arcs of Massive Disaster, I'll be doing more A Boy's Tail, Fighting Chance, etc

Hope you use some of the other ideas later too. I liked several of them even if I could only vote for one

Looking forward to this poor bugger but honestly if he's not on it all the sweeter to me

I'm very interested in seeing how this plays out, and what level of plot armor this MC is going to need to survive at all. If its just pure gear grabs, would he get any sort of knowledge on how to use the items? If not, then I can't see that he'd be able to survive without some frankly insane levels of plot armor or becoming a support Armory character. It takes some dedicated training time with any weapon to use it even moderately effectively (even something as simple and useful as a spear or club).
