📣 Starting this week, I’m changing my update pacing.

i’ve been dropping chapters like a maniac, but it’s time to evolve.
the chaos worked. now we sharpen it.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

🔁 Story Rotation Format (Public)

Going forward, i’ll be rotating three main series on a weekly cycle.
Each one gets 2 chapters per week when it’s live—then swaps out, on and on till the end of their arcs.

Week A
📅 Wed – Story 1
📅 Sun – Story 1

Week B
📅 Wed – Story 2
📅 Sun – Story 2

Week C
📅 Wednesday – Story 3
📅 Sunday – Story 3

→ Then loop back to Week A.

if your favorite story isn’t updating this week—it’s just on cooldown. not abandoned.

this doesn’t affect patreon. i’m still writing fast. this just lets me actually plot, clean, and edit before stuff hits the public feed.

I've also begun to tighten the pacing to make each arc feel like it's own more self-contained pieces rather than the sprawls that were the original Greg Vs and Life Is But A Game.

📅 Weekly Schedule

Public Readers
📖 Wednesday – Chapter Drop
📖 Sunday – Chapter Drop

Patreon
📘 Mon / Wed / Fri – New Chapters
🎙️ Thurs – Audio Newsletter
🧠 Sun – Polls, behind-the-scenes, or bonus content

Patrons still get 5+ updates/week. the pace hasn’t changed—the structure has.

⚠️ Breaks + Rotation Clarification

Every third week of the month is a rotation break.
If I take a pause, you’ll know.
If a story disappears, it’s not abandoned—it’s just on cooldown.

I’m not ghosting anything. I’m just running this smarter.
And no, I’m not dying—I’m preventing a stroke.

🛠️ Coming Soon: Tier Updates

i’m tweaking the lower tiers to close the gap and reflect the new pacing:

  • $3–$7: your feed’s about to speed up. new chapters dropping faster, cleaner, and more regularly.you’ll feel it this month.

  • $12–$15: → nothing changes—you’re still at the front of the timeline, and you’ll be getting extra polish + perks soon.

🌐 Site Migration Announcement

patreon’s formatting kept butchering my chapters—spacing, pacing, rhythm.
so i built my own site.

moving forward, all full chapters will be hosted on undeadscribe.com, gated through patreon.
you’ll still get a preview + link here on patreon—same perks, same access.

Nothing is changing with your tier or billing. But going forward, chapters will post there instead of directly on Patreon, with a preview here and a link leading to the content.

  • Patreon broke my formatting. so i built a new home. chapters now post on undeadscribe.com, with previews + links through patreon. it’s cleaner, faster, and actually built for the stories i’m trying to tell.

  • More importantly, I’m taking my work more seriously. With original fiction on the horizon, I want my platform to actually match the effort going into the writing.

  • i want each arc to get the focus it deserves. this format lets me build cleaner, meaner arcs without burning out or ghosting anything.

  • it means better pacing, stronger payoff, and no dropped storylines.

The new site will be clean, pretty and structured the way I want it (because I spent the last two nights building it). You’ll still get everything you’re owed: same pacing, same perks—just finally presented how it was meant to be read.

You’ve been getting firehose content.
Now I’m switching to controlled bursts—with the same heat.

Let’s keep it moving.

Rather than a week break every month, I think you'd be better off with a week break every four weeks. (12x vs 13x per year).

Whatever helps you get some rest. Every time you casually mentioned how you didn’t sleep and that’s why you could write so much, I felt a mix of concern and pity.

Which stories count as main for the foreseeable future?

CallOut4

Thank God, u was getting concerned about ur health

Currently outlined stories like Nerd in the North, Massive Disaster and Greg Vs. At least until the arcs end. This allows me to rotate them out and plot/pace them ahead of time while working on something else.

As Nika would say: ‘A miracle has happened. It knows how to rest.’ No, but joking aside. Take a more relaxed approach. I've read stories where you've waited almost 2 years for an update. But they weren't even a fraction of the quality of your stories

Maybe try your hand at posting your original story on royal road you have really good update speed and keep the chapters very well read if all goes well you could get picked up by Amazon on the other hand web novel is a thing but I hear it's hell for writers beacuse of deadlines or something like that

Does this mean we'll be getting an update TODAY as it's a Sunday, or should we just chill and wait for Wednesday? At any rate, take as much time as you need to rest and recuperate!

zfighter18

Sunday and Wednesday are PUBLIC, as in other sites. 5 chapters a week on Patreon for Monday Wed Fri

Fucking FINALY! I glad you’re finally looking after your own health dude! You should always look out for numero uno first, before anyone else!

Code_Verendus

Glad to hear you're leaving time for breaks man. Having a healthy work-life balance is impossible when you're burning the candle at both ends.

Meep_Meep

Exciting! Thank god you’re taking breaks now!
