Zedd gathering the group at lakehouse around mid-afternoon: Dev, Adele, Caleb, Kira, Nina, and Kai standing outside his house

Zedd pushing off from the wall: "Got something to show you all. Been working on this for about eighteen months now."

Walking down the green of his property

Dev stretching his shoulders, frame shifting: "Boss, this better not be another workshop. I'm still recovering from the last underground tour."

Adele exhaling smoke from her NicStic, voice tired: "Please tell me you didn't build another AI down here. Can't handle another digital enfant."

Group trailing behind Zedd across the evening grass, footsteps crunching on gravel pathways

Leading them toward seemingly normal prefab building two hundred meters from main house

Building looks like standard colonial storage facility, unremarkable beige composite walls

Kai moving with silent precision, checking sightlines automatically

Nina pulling her jacket tighter against the chill: "Zedd, this looks like every other storage unit on the colony."

Caleb scanning the structure: "Yeah, but knowing Zee, that's probably the point."

Approaching building entrance, Zedd's hand finding hidden biometric scanner

Palm print activating, blue light tracing fingerprint patterns

Retinal scan beam flickering across his aviators

Voice recognition prompt: "Identity confirmed"

ADAM's voice through concealed speakers: "Welcome back, boss. Hangar systems online. Climate control optimal."

Entire floor section beginning to descend with mechanical hum

Kira stepping back instinctively: "Of course it's an elevator. Why wouldn't it be an elevator?"

Nina gripping the safety rail as platform drops: "How deep does this go?"

Zedd's casual response: "Deep enough."

Hangar reveal as platform descends twenty meters:

Massive underground space opening up, easily size of aircraft hangar

Three distinct spacecraft positioned on individual maintenance platforms

Advanced lighting systems activating in sequence, revealing polished metal and sleek designs

Dev's jaw dropping: "Mother of G... Zee, what the hell?"

Caleb stepping forward: "Holy shit, Zedd. You've been building spaceships under our feet?"

Zedd walking confidently toward the nearest craft: "Ships, not spaceships. These babies don't need space to fly."

The Carly - Personal Vessel:

Sleek single-seat craft positioned center-left, midnight blue with silver racing stripes

Compact aerodynamic design, no visible engine ports

Zedd's hand trailing along the hull: "This is the Carly. One-man vessel, fastest thing I've ever built as of eight months ago. Can hit Mach 12 in atmosphere, and that's for this small thing."

Dev whistling low: "Mach 12 in atmo? That's crazy, bro."

Zedd shrugging: "Yeah, well. Sometimes you need to get somewhere fast."

Kira circling the craft, blue eyes turned his way: "How long ago did you say you built this?"

Zedd: "Nine months ago."

Kira's voice sharp with disbelief: "By yourself?"

Zedd: "Yeah."

Walking deeper into hangar, footsteps echoing off polished concrete

Nina's heels clicking against the floor, business attire incongruous in military setting

Adele flicking ash into portable disposal unit, French accent bleeding through fatigue: "Tabarnac, Zee. This is what you've been doing instead of sleeping?"

The Valentine - Stealth Strike Fighter:

Red and white color scheme, angular aggressive design positioned center-right

Weapon hardpoints visible along swept wings and reinforced fuselage

Nina approaching cautiously, fingers not quite touching the hull: "This one looks... military."

Zedd's grin sharp: "The Valentine. Stealth strike fighter. Can disappear from most sensor arrays, hit targets they'll never see coming."

Adele's voice dry as burnt coffee: "Weapons?"

Zedd gesturing to hardpoint configurations: "Special cannons, missile systems, some experimental stuff I'm still testing. She's built to hurt things that need hurting."

Kira's command tone emerging: "You planning on fighting a war, Zee?"

Caleb smirking, clear confidence showing: "Guy's always planning for something."

Zedd's voice dropping serious: "Planning to survive one."

The Grande - Heavy Interceptor:

Largest of three ships dominating far end of hangar, imposing presence with a lavender hull and a metallic finish complemented by pearl white accents

Multi-seat configuration visible through transparent canopy

Heavy armor plating, built for more punishment than the last two

Boarding ramp extended, internal lighting casting warm glow

Zedd spreading arms wide: "And this beauty is the Grande. Heavy interceptor, built for extended operations. Can carry a full team, enough firepower to take on a frigate."

Adele shaking her head, smoke curling around tired features

Nina: "This is it, huh? You’ve been planning this since the beginning, since you had the idea for this whole company, right?"

Zedd: "Since the day I realized humanity’s been playing catch-up with our ship tech."

Kira: "Impressive. Logistics for construction?"

Zedd: "Automated fabrication, materials sourced through shell companies. ADAM handled most of the coordination."

Kira approaching Grande's engine housing, analyzing propulsion systems: "What kind of engine do these things have?"

Zedd's voice carrying pride and secrecy: "Well, all of them are my own personal make? Non-eezo, baby."

Kira stopping dead, voice cutting: "Non-eezo FTL? That's impossible."

Adele, Dev, and Caleb sharing knowing look across hangar floor

Adele's tired acceptance: "Uhhh... Kay."

Kira spinning toward them, irritated look on her face: "Don't tell me you knew about this?"

Dev wincing, tensing: "Well..."

Kira's voice rising: "And you didn't tell me?"

Zedd interrupting casually: "In their defense, they honestly probably forgot. I mean, I told them like two months ago. You guys kinda showed up late to the party."

Nina processing implications: "The implications... if this technology got out..."

Zedd's dismissive confidence: "It won't. People can barely figure out my tech in the first place. Good luck stealing it."

Zedd turning toward Grande's boarding ramp: "You guys wanna go for a short little trip in the Grande? She's not my favorite compared to the Valentine, but she flies pretty well."

Kira's tactical curiosity overriding caution: "Are you serious? Actual space flight?"

Zedd's rhetorical response: "As opposed to what?"

Nina clutching her jacket, excitement fighting terror: "This is insane. Completely insane."

Adele rolling her eyes, smoke trailing: "Get used to it."

Caleb stepping toward ramp, Brooklyn eagerness: "I'm in. When do we leave?"

Kira wrestling with opportunity: "I can't say no to this."

Nina's voice breathless: "I... yes. Absolutely yes."

Kai remaining motionless near hangar entrance, tactical positioning maintained: "I'll remain behind. Someone should maintain security protocols."

Zedd pausing at ramp base: "You sure? Might not get another chance for a while."

Kai's subtle discomfort: "I would prefer not to again... sir."

Zedd grinning knowingly: "Fair enough."

Kira's curiosity: "What's with Leng?"

Zedd's amused evasion: "I wouldn't worry about it."

Group climbing boarding ramp, metal grating under diverse footsteps

Interior reveal: Pilot and co-pilot seats in reinforced cockpit configuration

Four passenger positions with military-grade restraint systems

Advanced control interfaces flickering to life, holographic displays populating data

Air recycling systems humming, artificial gravity generators warming up

Zedd settling into pilot seat, slotting a chip into the main panel, hands finding controls with practiced familiarity: "Everyone strap in. First time's always interesting."

Dev securing himself in passenger seat, testing restraints: "Define interesting."

Zedd's engines spinning up with subsonic whine: "You'll see."
