Blueguard VEST timeMeet the Mk IV. white-blue armor, full seal, shield-efficient, and light enough to actually run in.

“light armor” is relative. still stops most small-arms, keeps pressure in, poison out, and the joints dont lock no matter what muck gets into them. ice, blood, vomit, whatever.

forgot to add jump-jets to this version but it was too much of a power hog the way it was designed.

Anyway, Nina asked for something you could hand to a fresh recruit and keep them alive but nothing as complicated or as detailed as the Model II or III. Something with branding.

fair ask, i got you, babe.

kep = KINETIC. ENERGY. PACKETS.

NOT PULSE.

not bullets. not lasers. controlled packets of force.

upstart is standard rifle. simple, reliable and doesn't cook itself unless you push it that way.

little brother is shorter. boarding, alleys, interiors, places where a full rifle keeps hitting doorframes and making you look stupid.

hornet fires fast enough to ruin shield recovery. so ideal for combat.

big mouth—

yeah. shotgun.

rip-roar works.

name is still ehhhhh.precision rifle, 1.5 klick range (practical, at least) and comes with enough output to punch light plating. snipers keep asking for more zoom. they do not need more zoom.

heavy hand is the pistol for when the shield in front of you needs to stop being a shield.

anything else... maybe?

static crown field test.

four nodes, linked projection, formation disruption and area denial. translated: throw it down, it builds a box out of invisible “dont.”

little OFF watching blueguard deploy it around protesters though. riiight, we’re absolutely NOT getting in the habit of making that normal. Blueguard is colonial extra-threat, not intra-threat.Maybe I should make a 'police-grade' VEST. Hmmm.

Alright, the rest of it. I think no more after this. no, I'M SURE. no MORE.

thunderhead handles armor and mechs.

ramrod is continuous kinetic output, basically if you made a battering ram a kamehameha (no one gets that reference).

kickdrum throws disruption packets into rooms.

goodnight is for hard targets, slow charge, ugly result.

hailmaker sustains shield pressure.

skyrake tracks drones, swarms, low aircraft. looks like a little angry shrine until it deletes six recon units in four seconds.

blueguard called all of this “specialist peacekeeping equipment.”

sure.

the actual good part of the mk iv isnt the guns.

its modular, sealed, cheap enough to mass produce, and simple enough that logistics can keep one alive on their own. It also comes with the space to onboard a NAVI for assistance.

the armor shifts protection where it matters, shares load with the operator, regulates heat, keeps the shield draw from eating the power core. movement stays clean.

Solid work, me.

The Thunderhead looks like it's supposed to be wielded single handedly, but it's frame looks far too bulky for that to work. I would suggest turning it into a double munition break-loading mechanism with one barrel on top of the other, like a flare-shot gun hybrid. One rocket to pop the shield, and another one to pop the bot. Edit: other than that I'm happy with the other designs!
