Real weird to be in a hotel with openable windows. Someone had once mentioned to him that the ‘past was a different country’ and, while Orin wasn’t exactly sure which professor brought that quote to him, he did know they were definitely not wrong.Because no suicide protections in a hotel was kinda crazy.Sure, there were other reasons hotels in the future didn’t have fully openable window, a whole bunch of ‘safety’ reasons, but everybody and anybody knew it was to stop people from unaliving themselves.Or just straight up falling out, because a lot of drunk people were in hotels too.Either way, the windows made it convenient for him, the Trump hotel falling away behind him as Orin soared out of his room without looking back. Green light coating his body, Orin climbed higher over the rooftops— Manhattan inching away until the streets were a couple hundred feet below his glowing Timbs.I really gotta make a superhero suit. Figuring out how to use the ring to make one was definitely an idea, and one he was still practicing for a while now, but clothes — with the exception of accessories — were still a work in progress.And, until that work progressed, he didn’t really want to risk any indecent exposure.But, past that, a leather jacket and some wheat Timberlands wasn’t exactly the most superheroic look. Not like I need armor or padding or anything.He definitely didn’t know what would be the point so that at least cut his requirements down by a good bit. And I don’t need any tech either.Granted, the earpiece he had during the invasion was helpful, but it wasn’t anything necessary when he was just stopping street crime or random villains.
