OKAY. SO FIRST OFF. The way you rendered these backgrounds is insane, because all of the glitching and static is something I could literally hear inside my head - and feel inside of my body. Like, when your body is telling you there is danger nearby but you don't see it yet - just a fizzing sense of dread ~shivers~ And just once again the FACIAL EXPRESSIONS just leave me speechless. Ryder just, God - like there are so many subtle ways you can see the expressions shift into different levels of fear. And Nathan's facial expression when he says "How many" literally gave me chills. Like oh god what's his name - Gina? From Bleach? When you finally get to see his eyes being fully open instead of in that humor squint and you KNOW shit's about to go down But also, RYDER USING HIS TELEKINESIS POWERS TO YANK MEGUMI AND NATHAN. I love seeing how you flesh out the details of the sketches because that is something I didn't catch until it was fully rendered

And I just looked at it again and noticed a trend - whenever Ryder is remembering something important, those film reels show up - which makes sense because that's the demon that took away his memories

BUT ALSO (sorry for all of the message threads) So far Amy is the one who has her memories back of Ryder, right? So like she KNOWS that Ryder's future sight is spot on for the most part. If he is saying RUN - like - LISTEN TO HIM????? I'm just really wondering what is going through her head right now because her facial expressions aren't giving anything away - like she's retreated into that overly calm persona she uses to suppress the demon queen - is that why? Because she had to get control of herself after she started slipping while fighting Megumi?

Ryder isn’t communicating *why* they need to run — just that they need to. Amy isn’t going to let a demon go or abandon an encounter because that could mean humans getting pulled in and dying. Amy is very much thinking “oh, he’s probably really scared right now and wants to run away” because he’s always scared at the beginning of a demon interaction before his future vision calms him down

Also, Vicky isn’t a flower head so she’s supposedly not that big of a threat to 4 exorcists - Amy is confident that they can do it and Ryder is just reverting back to his default scared setting

Amy also only really fully opens up with Ryder. Since she had to make sure to calm down from the previous fight — and that Megumi and Nathan are there — she’s going to be aloof

Everyone stop being stupid and listen to the guy who cAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE

Not to mention, going from simple squiggly Storyboards to seeing Vickie come fully into her persona. Ugh, I’m getting such Spinel vibes from her introduction 😅
