Tying an Umbrella in Osaka and surprising people (Patreon)

Yes, we definitely got a lot of looks!
What's the trickiest thing you've ever had to tie up? For me, it's definitely been those transparent plastic umbrellas! 🌂You know the ones – ubiquitous in Japan, seemingly innocent, but oh-so-tricky to tame. They're like a symbol of the endless cycle of sharing and swapping in Japan. The umbrella culture lol You grab one from a cafe, leave it behind for someone else, and pick up another on your way out. It's a dance of umbrellas, if you will. (you can take a clear one, but never the nicer ones!!!!)But amidst the chaos, there's beauty to be found. So, don’t be surprised if your plastic friend disappears after you left it by the cafe – these cheapos also seem to be part of the societal share system, mi kasa es tu kasa (Kasa is umbrella in Japanese) 🌂.Swipe through to witness the struggle (on the video lol!) , the triumph, and the sheer creativity that blooms when faced with a challenge. And of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible vision and talent of Shane , inspired for cyberpunk after watching Blade Runner ...🤫Here's to the magic of spontaneous artistry, captured in the heart of Osaka. 📸✨
