American Horror Story 3x9 FULL REACTION

Lol, I had to laugh in the intro. He says the boys name Hank in the first few mins, must have missed it. I was like, why is he guessing it’s Tate?? Great reaction so far as always, can’t wait for you to continue this series. It starts to pay off around AHS Apocalypse or even as early as next season for Easter eggs. Also lmao when you were addressing the Luke storyline about death, “well it’s coven” lol anyone can come back at any time!

The actor you thought was in Season 1 is Mike Colter. You know him as Luke Cage. He wasn’t in Murder House though. Pretty sure you confused him for Morris Chestnut, the security officer who oversaw the house. Never noticed until now but they do favor each other a little bit.

Ahhh yes I was thinking about Luke Cage. And yes, looking back at a picture of him, they do look very similar

I love me some Morris Chestnut 😭😭I can definitely see why the two of them could get mixed up lol

Dear Movie Fusion, the actress playing Luke's mom has a good singing voice because she is Patti LuPone, the QUEEN of Broadway ! Type her name on You Tube, you'll see ! Here she just did a tiny impromptu thing, but she has golden pipes that lady !

Myrtle is an amazing actress! Frances Conroy was nominated for 6 Emmy Awards. 4x for her role in SIX FEET UNDER. And 2x for AMERICAN HORROR STORY. This season Coven and the 1st season as Moira, the maid.

Also for future reference, in case you were wondering, Jessica's surname is pronounced LANG ( cf. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Txeh7pl1JU ). You might have found out already, but I remember in 3 x 1 reaction you said you thought you wrongly pronounced her surname, so here goes. =)

Also, Luke’s mother is 3x Tony Award winning Broadway actress Patti Lupone. That’s why she had a pretty good singing voice. Her most famous roles were in the musicals EVITA and GYPSY.

Not to get ahead of myself, but I think this is the episode with my all-time favorite AHS single scene. Before hitting play and assuming I just can’t wait to see your reaction when my favorite scene does happen. note to self grab the tissues.

I absolutely love all your American horror story content. I do feel that when you talk, you miss some crucial points and scenarios sometimes. A thoughtful suggestion of mine would be to pause when you have a comment just so that you do not miss anything important and are not unaware of something that has been mentioned already.. When you talk while they are talking, it takes away from the plot and your understanding of what’s happening later

Actually TJ

Only reason, I mentioned that is because I have noticed you’ve missed a couple jokes/ important dialogue that was referenced later within your review of AHS. By no means am I trying to criticize you just giving my thoughts. Love your content as I said!!

Actually TJ

Sorry for the spam just watching this now, but like i said loveee your content.. its just hard to watch when you start talking while dialogue is already happening, then i feel like youre missing stuff and so are we.

Actually TJ

Watching you react to it is like watching it with someone, but if they interrupt a lot obviously it’s not the full experience. I would recommend pausing when you have thoughts. Love your content just think it would benefit the viewers and you as well.

You are always free to give any constructive criticism, always feel welcome to. And also feel free to let me know what specifics you think I missed within a given episode. I never felt at any point in this episode that I was unable to understand anything specific (that I wasn't supposed to understand) except for maybe missing Hank's name being said in the opening scene but I figured it out kind of quickly that it must be him anyways and then remembered that I did hear his name just didn't fully process it. I will say, my headset is A LOT louder than my voice, so when I talk, I'm not unable to hear the dialogue. But of course, I try to balance it. I have done some pausing in the past, but a lot of people don't like it when I do because it messes up their watchalong. So I only pause if I have like A LOT to say at once ya know?

Feel free to let me know what you believe I might have missed. Perhaps I would've missed these things regardless of speaking. I guess it depends on what it is. I have to make sure I am talking enough in the reaction to warrant it even existing as a reaction video (usually the videos get blocked if I'm not talking much)

The problem with that is I would be pausing like 100+ times during the episode, and in my opinion, that would ruin the momentum of the episode. If I ever have something really detailed and long to say, I will pause, but a lot of the time it’s just quick thoughts and I can still hear the dialogue while sharing. I apologize if you can’t hear the dialogue through this reaction because that’s just how the audio levels work on the full uncuts. I edit that to balance it out on the YouTube reactions though. It’s intended you have your own copy if it’s your first time watching the show along with me, so the audio isn’t a problem there.

It’s not my first time watching this show I just wanted to make sure you got your whole experience, and really understanding what’s going on because sometimes they explain it when you’re trying to figure it out. if you’re washing it fully without comments then I completely respect that I was just saying if you’re gonna comment on it, I would pause so you don’t miss anything.

I appreciate that you are looking out for my viewing experience. It is hard to balance talking in reactions. It’s actually a common conversation among reactors on YouTube of how to handle it. I do believe i understand what’s going on (up until what I’m supposed to understand of course), but again, if there’s anything you feel I’m missing, always feel free to let me know!

I love Myrtle so much xD Fiona threatening to call the council and she goes "Go ahead! I hear they're not seeing anyone right now!" xD
