Andor 2x12 FULL REACTION

Clone Wars has some of the worst writing in all of Star Wars. Take the Bad Batch storyline from season 7. The entire arc the Bad Batch are questioning Echo’s loyalty but Rex trusts him and believes him to be loyal to the Republic. Only for the arc to end with Echo joining the Bad Batch instead of Rex because they have disabilities and are outcasts. That is such a superficial reason to join a group. That’s identify politics. The way we think should matter more than our outer appearance. And the Bad Batch has no shared experience or understanding of Echo as a person. Rex did. Just extremely poor character writing. Mandalorian looks like shit. It looks like it was filmed in a parking lot because it was filmed in a parking lot. It is cheap, lazy, familiar. Filoni has reduced the size of the Galaxy to fit in the palm of an Ewok. Season one is tolerable. Season two plays like a series of pilot episodes for other shows. Luke Skywalker showing up in digital drag is a low mark for this entire franchise. Andor is my favorite series of all time. The only sad thing about it is that its conclusion is in a truly awful film. Andor is the more topical show made in the last decade. It has so much to say about our current times. It is a masterpiece that I am truly saddened is finished.

The final shot was so powerful. We know Cassian is going on his last mission, but Bix and his baby represent what his sacrifice was worth and the reason the rebellion was fighting for: a future.

As much as I love The Mandalorian S1 & S2 (I don't really care for S3), I definitely can't defend the Luke Skywalker CGI face thing lol. I loved him returning, that was great and made sense for the scene, but I don't get why they didn't just use a lookalike actor instead (which they ended up doing much better with in The Book of Boba Fett). For The Clone Wars Season 7, I will say, although I enjoy The Bad Batch arc, it's the final 4 episodes with the Siege of Mandalore that I really love more than anything. Really everything with Maul and Mandalore in that series is what makes it my favorite (and most arcs with Ahsoka)

Melshi is in rogue one btw. I honestly didn’t remember him either until I just watched it again.
