Dexter's goal during the first interaction with Ramone was actually to incite him into blowing up. He wasn't trying to be sincere. His inner monolog mentions his intentions before entering. Good scene though.

It is amazing so far, episode 4 was one of the best episodes of the entire show imo, feels like old Dexter again.

dexter wasn’t trying to get ramon to calm down, he was trying to piss him off, so he was pretty good at what he was trying to do

rita really bothers me in this episode honestly, CLEARLY dexter has trouble expressing himself, if she hasn’t picked up on that yet she’s extremely dense, one of the ways he shows love is by caring for the people who see important to him, him trying to marry rita with his little logical ways is his way of showing he wants to do it and she’s just being a woman and expecting him to change how he is to prove he loves her, the whole conflict would be avoided if she wasn’t being difficult, we always blame dexter for not being “good” at relationships but the reality is eventually you have to understand your partner

Another great reaction. Here's hoping at some point you decide this is your favorite show of all-time. I know your love of The Walking Dead universe. But, I had to come to that decision as well. I do miss Doakes watching these season three episodes.

Miguel wanted to tell Ramon about Freebo and Dexter was against this. He knew Miguel wouldn’t let it go, so he decided to prove to Miguel that Ramon was unstable and untrustworthy, he did it by intentionally making Ramon angry. He identified the things that bothered Ramon and pressed on them. Dexter thinks that he’s not good at dealing with people’s emotions, and he isn’t with his friends and family. But with his adversaries he is a natural at either adopting the character of another person to fool them, or subtly probing their soft spots.
