Dexter 4x7 FULL REACTION

Samuel

Dexter got slobby on the vetting on this one! He did prove that a murder likely happened in the studio and found that nail, but yeah, didn't prove who did it, he just assumed cos it seemed more likely, and he's been preoccupied with Trinity. He doesn't often fuck up, when it comes to the killing, but this was a fuck up for sure!

The photographer looked pretty guilty 😆 maybe if he was less of an asshole or had less creepy activities, Dexter would have hesitated or done more research. He didn't deserve to die of course, but it was only a matter of time before even Dexter made a mistake. Can't wait for the next one😊

This is one of my favourite episodes of the show, and one where I consider Dexter to be more egotistical and somewhat narcissistic. The fact that Farrow looks like one of his victims and we just go along with it is troubling, but that is why I hate Dexter in some ways. He just wants to kill him without considering that it’s still an open investigation, which shows how clearly he sees himself as more competent than his co-workers. In one scene, it seems that they couldn’t find any proof that Farrow did it, so Dexter immediately thinks he can prove it by himself. But, as I said, it’s still an active investigation—many things could go wrong. I think this could be one of the reasons he eventually gets caught: his compulsion to kill has evolved. In previous seasons, we saw that Dexter chose his victims from files and cold cases, but this kill is different. The same thing happened with Little Chino in season 2, and as we know, he had problems with that kill because Little Chino saw his face. So, when Dexter takes it upon himself to do what he does best during an active investigation, it always ends badly. And as you said before, he should use a fucking mask aksksk

Considering Farrow was implied to be an abuser and potential rapist, I'd say that it's not a bad thing that Dexter took him out, even if he didn't technically fit the code. But still, this is definitely an instance of Dexter getting too careless. Honestly he gets lucky very often with how sloppy he can be at gathering appropriate evidence.

J-DEV TV

Great reaction, Danny! Especially at the end.

Chase

That's not how kids and marriage work. There has to be an adoption process but it probably happened in the show after they got married

in this scenario it seems like Dexter accepted less proof than usual just so he could get it over with and get back to watching Trinity, normally for Dexter blood just existing isn't enough evidence, normally he'd look for more proof such as DNA, trophies, camera footage, etc

Mega Bro

Dexter married Rita which makes her kids Dexter's step- kids. A lot of the time kids simply see their step-parent as their mom/dad
