First saw this movie when it first aired on ABC during the summer of 1996. I have arachnophobia, and I was a nervous wreck by the time the movie ended. I was looking all over to make sure no spiders were hiding and ready to jump or crawl on me. The only reason I can watch this movie now is because I know where the spiders are going to appear and what happens in each scene. One movie you should watch is Kingdom of the Spiders from 1977. It's a fun drive-in/popcorn flick you'll probably enjoy. It's also probably the movie that started my arachnophobia. By the way, the TV show that the family was watching on the end wasn't any of the Back to the Future movies. It was the sitcom Family Ties, which Michael J. Fox starred in along with actor Michael Gross, who is also famous for the Tremors movie series.

Just wanna brag cause you're saying in north america you live with few deadly insects. i live in Scotland with no deadly insects and no deadly animals at all. No earthquakes, volcanos, tornados, hurricaines, tsunamis. lol you can literally lie down and sleep on the ground and the only thing that would bother you is it would be a little cold. Biggest animals are foxes and they're shit scared of humans (maybe because in the UK there's a tradition of hunting them for fun) I live in a snakeless garden of eden.
