Gellar only interacted with Travis all season lol

If you go back you'll probably be able to notice all the subtle hints about Gellar not being there. Like, with the painting, his sister says that Travis is an artist, so he's the one who has been doing all the paintings, not Gellar. Or when Dexter is following Travis through the market, he leaves *just* before Gellar appears. If he hadn't left, he would've seen Travis talking to himself. Plus, the girl that they hang with the angel wings never acknowledges Gellar's presence in Travis' house, she only acknowledges Travis. It's such good writing, I love this season.

Dude, I thought you'd catch on sooner. Episode 3 at 15:34 you said "this man is like a devil on his shoulder". Episode 6 at 53:11 you made a similar comment. When you said it in Ep 3 that's when I remembered what was going on this season. I forgot the reveal would be Gellar's body in a freezer. Kind of like the ice truck killer.

Staineless

Was waiting for this all season :P I think the really cool part is that Harry has been calling Gellar Travis' "dark passenger" the entire series and so has Dexter, but he didn't have any idea how right he was and he thought he was physically alive. The hints were definitely there every time they called him that but they did such a fantastic job of hiding that he wasn't alive which most shows fail at. You watched The Boys season 4 and that was far less well hidden.

It's funny cause the Gellar twist is so insanely obvious on rewatches, but of course no one ever realizes it on the first watch. But on rewatches you can definitely catch onto how Gellar speaks to NO ONE but Travis.

I genuinely caught it on my first watch, during the diner scene when Travis is flirting with the waitress, I remember being like "what shitty customer service, she completely ignored gellar... wait, has anyone ever talked to him before?" That, plus all the parallels between Harry and Gellar with Dex and Travis. Not my favorite season but a fun twist, wish they did more with the whole "Travis also has a dark passenger" thing, but alas
