New Blood was ordered as a limited series. They considered continuing it with a 2nd season but decided to pivot to Original Sin instead then eventually Resurrection.

Not sure if someone else has said this yet, but it was actually a plot hole the fact that they used ketamine as the og series used M99. Even though it states in this show that the Bay Harbor Butcher always used ketamine.

yeah its been talked about in the comments here previously. very dumb writing decision and especially pointless because resurrection and original sin walk back on it

Yeah idek why they made that change. It was said so many times that he used M99. They must have known we would all know that he didn't use ketamine. It's more of a weird and unneccessary retcon than a plothole, but it's still annoying.

I saw one of the main producers of the show said that people would be upset if he somehow got his hands on M 99 all the way out in iron Lake. So I guess it was a catch 22.

i'm not sure if original sin does it but resurrection has those stupid flash forward things in the intro sequence, so make sure to not look at them!
