Bro you mixed them up, Ymir the founder (from the historical flashbacks) is completely different from Historia's friend Ymir. One is the ancestor who held the founding power, and the other is just named after her

If you rewatch Ymir’s scene when she was a child. She’s actually from Marley too. She went through what Grisha went through too but before Grisha was born. That’s why Reiner realized that she could’ve been from Marley instead of Paradise.
