Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this! It's a classic. 1) There's a sequel "Speed 2: Cruise Control". It's not as good as the original, but holds it own. Good acting (Annie is back), nice action, beautiful scenery. If sometimes, in the future, you want to relax to an action adventure flick - Speed 2 is a good option. 2) Keanu Reeves is in another amazing movie, a classic, "Point Break". He co-stars with Patrick Swayze. An action adventure, but also spiritual and very beautiful movie. One of the "must-sees". Oh, and avoid the remake, it's awful.

OMG, yes!!! I love you. LOL This is one of my favorites. I'm so happy right now! This movie was literally made with you in mind. Off to watch!

I’m going to need the full-length version of that Meow Meow duet. 🤔

So, now that I've watched the reaction... When I recommended this one, I knew you'd love it. You are so right, the music in this movie is incredible. Music is very underrated in most films, and this has one of my favorite scores. \everything about this film is wonderful. I love Annie as a character. I really hope you'll react to Independence Day. If I already recommended it, my apologies, but it's another great one that I think you'd really enjoy. Like with this one, I only recommend the first film. The sequel isn't nearly as good. Seriously, you made me so happy today. Thank you!

I’ve heard about Point Break a lot but I know nothing about it so that’s a good possibility for the future

This film always reminded me of True Lies with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Maybe cause it came out almost the same time.

Ok so I found your channel through LOTR and joined for that but started going through the movies as I watch while I work. I came across this one. I haven't seen this is YEARS but I remembered how much I used to love it. Love it like know every word to it, my best friend and I went so many times to the movies to see it. I didn't remember any of that until the intro kicked in and it started flooding me with memories of how great Speed is and how much I loved it! Keanu made his early career playing surfer boy type guys and he did it well like in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. He broke out of this with Point Break which was a more serious role though still containing the surfer boy image in a way. Speed was truly the first time we realized that 1. He could be an action star and 2. He actually could act. Everything about Speed adds to this tension where you are on the edge of your seat the entire time and it isn't just you. No matter how many times I watch that movie it still feels like 10 minutes because everything moves so quickly. I'm so glad you loved it!

No dude this movie is classic 90s, one of the films that defined 90s action movies and it still holds up to this day. It was one of those films that brought a return of the summer blockbusters and showed Keanu Reeves could be more than playing comedic roles.
