Horror freak here! 🙋🏼‍♀️ “Main-stream” horror used to make me roll my eyes, but anything Mike Flanagan touches is pure gold. He’s a masterful writer AND director and he continually hits the mark. I can’t help but think he’s paved the way for these younger guys (think Obsession and Back Rooms, Skinamarink) and it fills me with such joyyyyyy. Even ‘The Life of Chuck’ is a beautiful film of his, so he’s not married to one genre. I’m glad you’re here 🙃
