And when it comes to Flanagan’s shows, I maintain that Hill House is his best show, in storytelling, acting, technical prowess, but Bly Manor is my favorite because of the emotional weight it has. I bawl every single time.

This is my favorite Flanagan show, I love the emotions and love you can feel in this one. Its devastating and still hopeful and beautifully written. I also love how he gives the women in his shows such twisted and detailed backstories and a full episode for them each to shine and get you more invested.

Haunting of Hill House was devastating in the scariest way, but BLY?!!! I went into Bly Manor expecting the same scare and got rocked with love and sadness maaaaaan I cried so hard I had a migraine for hours I was so mad lol I remember telling my homegirl through tears this was supposed to scare me! wtf lmao great video
