Progress update - Mariel, new exploration scenes + Serin poll results 🔥 (Patreon)

I had hoped to have Mariel's new scene ready yesterday, but it's taking longer than planned. Here's where things stand, along with quite a few other additions I've been working on.

Mariel x MC - progress and timing

Over the weekend, I made some big improvements to my animation workflow. That should mean better animations and faster production going forward.

After going back and forth on it, I decided to remake most of the Mariel x MC goddess scene animations while they were still unreleased. The new versions are finished now, but upscaling takes a long time and won't be done today. There are around 100 unique animations for the H-scenes alone, so this has become a pretty big scene. 😅

I've also rewritten and expanded both Mariel's story and the H-scene quite a bit. If you're on her route, parts of it play out differently depending on your MC's form.

What's left before release:• Finish upscaling the animations.• Finish the scene writing, which is currently around 30% complete.• Add the voice work.

I'm aiming for tomorrow or the day after. I honestly can't promise that everything will be ready tomorrow, but I'll do my best.

More exploration scenes

While my GPU was busy, I worked on a lot of other additions. The forest, dungeon and Blightwood now have many more images and animations during exploration, ranging from happy moments together to H-content.

These scenes take your Bonds, Desires and current relationships into account. There are hundreds of new images and a large batch of animations, with plenty of different outfits to discover too.

Less narration, more to see

Going forward, I want the images to do more of the storytelling. If a moment can be shown clearly, I don't want a paragraph describing the same thing.

I've been applying that approach to Chapters 0-11 as well, rewriting passages and adding around 3,000 new images. Most of that work is finished, and I'm hoping to wrap up the rest tomorrow. Everything completed so far is already included in the current version.

A new way to get VIP access

I've also added a cryptocurrency payment option for VIP access. You choose how much to pay, and that amount gives you a corresponding number of hours of VIP access. You can check your remaining VIP time in the game.

This is still new and hasn't been fully tested yet. I've tested it with alternate accounts, and someone even used it yesterday before I'd finished implementing everything. There may still be issues I haven't caught, so I'm keeping track of every purchase. If anything goes wrong, please contact me through Discord, a message here, or the in-game feedback button so I can look into it.

Serin poll results 🗳️

I forgot to include these in Friday's post: Serin's white miniskirt won as her default outfit, and Punk Idol won as her special outfit. The special outfit result was extremely close - a single vote could have changed the outcome.

I felt the original miniskirt design looked a little plain, so I've added a few details that I think suit her really well. I've also been trying different outfits in the new dungeon exploration images.

More outfit polls are coming soon, since there are a few other characters whose looks I'd like to revisit.

Sorry this is taking longer than expected. I want Mariel's scene to look good and give the story the attention it needs. Thanks for being patient with me, and for all your support! ❤️
