Ivy- September postcard (Patreon)

Hey there folks. Thank you for allowing me some time away. I am still in a lot of pain. this week feels like a month. I think of my uncle having to have his face and teeth and ribs reconstructed and I feel like i actively have to suppress a scream of horror. The good news is he is alive, he is healing, he is lucid and it’s safe to say at this point he will be okay. I am working every day on laying down my anger at his attacker and choosing to have pity for such a person.

some good news: it looks likely I will be moving to my own apartment in Burbank in October, something I have dreamed about for 12 years! This wouldn’t be possible without all my supporters- people like you who believe in me. Even though everything is shut down/remote right now, I hope to get a studio job there when it’s safe again. Everything that I’ve dreamed for has come in time and I have faith that an opportunity  will come in time. In the meantime, I’m beefing up my portfolio with every possible job opening there could be in animation. Hope to have an animation progress shot to show you all soon!
