<3EURE MAUS!English: I'm finally back with black & blue! :D The first pages will be up in a few days, but I thought I'd show you what I'm doing in between so that you're up to date and don't feel neglected. ^-^You can see the current status of scene 11 above: eighteen pages pre-planned and inserted into the story file in Clip Studio Paint. In the next step I set the panel frames and work on the backgrounds. Every page goes through the following steps:- Rough layout sketch ( layout and texts are established)- Import of layout sketches into Clip (panel frames are created, speech bubbles inserted, etc)- Working on the the backgrounds and copying them into the pages- Rough final drawing of the characters- inking of the characters- adding flat colors by my assistants- shading and effects are completed by me- exporting the page, setting the final dialogues in a layout program Patrons who have been following me for a while already know the procedure! Overall, comics are a lot of work. But I LOVE it and I'm so happy to be able to devote myself to the main story again. I hope you'll like scene 11 and 12 :D There's action again, the plot is progressing and Derek and Gogo are FINALLY getting back together! <3 See you in a few days with the first pages! Thanks for your support! <3Yours MAUS!

Oooo I can’t wait! Question: do you sketch the initial pages on paper and upload them to clip or via another program? Sometimes I like sketching on paper then uploading into a program to finish rendering and such

Thank you so much for this brilliant insights! Love seeing your sketches :) I wanted to start a little comic for some years and are always too afraid to start, because I don't know where to start. Such posts help me to get a realistic perspective of drawing a comic and what it really means. Thanks for your hard work!
