There are adaptive controllers that could help with the first situation. Not sure if any of them work with the Switch, though.

Oh! That's a great idea! I didn't even consider it. At a quick glance, I saw guides for using the Xbox one with the switch... Will definitely have to do some research. Thanks for the idea
